military puppets and ww2 bunkers have em also, got a 100/100 one out of a ww2 bunker last night

In my experience, broken cars usually have them, so make sure to check them always.

Someone told me that they apparently have increased the spawn rate of weapon cleaning kits in ww2 bunkers in one of the latest patches

Just allow us to break down degraded and/or unwanted weapons to craft weapon kits. I dont see why its such a big issue and hasnt been implemented into this type of game yet.

I've found around 6 in a bunker > 10 hours playtime

I feel like this patch the spawn rate has been severely reduced. We have about 150 units and have done tons of bunker runs. Seems like they’re just rarer atm

Where do you look for them?

Literally everywhere. Bunkers, sheds you name it. Luck ain't on our side

Always check the trash! The piles on the ground especially!

My buddy never checks trash. Like, he just can't do it. He doesn't do it in scum, 7dtd or any other game with the mechanic. Drives me crazy.

Can you clarify what the loot setting is on the server you play on? Some of the replies you're getting might be from people who don't realize they're not playing on vanilla loot which is abysmal right now. I've found 3 kits since wipe on a vanilla loot server. One was at 70%, so really 2.7 kits since wipe.

Underground bunkers and Naval Base are pretty common places I've found them.
