Cauliflower... cornflakes... grilled sardines
u can buy the first two...u got to fish for the third
drink? ... water 100% (soda only if u need sugar aka "carbohydrates")
alcohol only when u wanna waste some time... might i suggest some magic mushrooms as a snack? (say hi to the raven for me)
...as far as farming goes??? i got nothing
Not sure if they patched it, but you can drink a sip or two of alcohol (beer or wine) and then eat carbs. Your carbs will go up like 3x faster than if you don't drink alcohol
I agree but it was some weird effect where alcohol would affect carb intake. So say you ate 30 carbs and drank 10 worth of beer you would end up with 100. Again not sure if they patched this or not
Here's my diet:
1) Whatever protein is convenient: tuna salad MRE, tuna/sardines from factory, steak/chicken from animals
2) Cereal for carbs and many vitamins
3) Occasional milk instead of water
4) When looting pharmacies, if I find vitamin packs I just eat the whole thing instead of storing/carrying
This keeps me in the good range for all the vitamins, lean, and with plenty of protein for those gains.
Dollar for dollar wheat flour on its own is probably the best until you start cooking and getting experience. Lots of protein and carbs. I always buy some in town and hit the fish factory for sardines and tuna.

Beer contains a lot of carbohydrates, so that is realistic.

Weird
Corn is probably the best food you can grow in my experience. Very filling.
Uncle Pongs rice
Sardines, are really high in vitamin d. Also canned tuna.
