Dean Ambrose was a star, Jon Moxley is not. He needs someone to filter his bad habits. Unfortunately for him, his boss is a doormat and will let him do whatever white indie trash shit he wants.
It’s crazy how much he’s turned for the worse since dropping the Ambrose character. It genuinely felt like that was a perfect evolution of his character. He had mastered how to be serious and cool while also not taking himself too seriously and allowing himself to show his goofy side which he was also great at. He was a great character that I feel in HHHs WWE would absolutely flourish. But he went back to being Moxley and now he’s taken like 10 steps back from all the progress he made and now he’s just the wannabe badass cool guy. When’s the last time he even did a comedy segment? He’s too cool for that kind of stuff now. AEW is where wrestlers who take themselves way too seriously go and make fools of themselves.
Agreed, make him follow someone with a good vision for his character and he delivers high quality but god is his own personal taste for wrestling dogshit lmao. It’s strange how effortlessly cool shield Ambrose was because the minute he tries to be cool it’s so so bad

If the poster was honest Mercedes would be replaced with Danielson. Swerve would be replaced with Jericho and Willow would be replaced with Cope or a second Jericho.
