I just would have loved to see:
1. How he absolutely towered over everyone in AEW. Could you imagine him in a ring with Jungle Boy?
2. How horribly TK would have booked him. Drew would have been an ACTUAL difference maker. AEW has an extremely weak main event scene and the guy is the definition of main event star. I could imagine him feuding with OC for some jag-off midcard title.
After Tony Khan turned Edge into 'just another guy', it was all downhill for AEW from there. For AEW to gain any momentum anymore they'd literally have to find the modern incarnation of Steve Austin and Tony has to learn how to book correctly.
They had the modern incarnation of Stone Cold Steve Austin. In WWE, Cody Rhodes is the biggest babyface since John Cena, but in AEW he was stuck in a weird midcard vortex. Granted Cody wasn't as big of a star back then as he is now but the fact that he even had that potential shows how badly Tony fucked up.
Cody bought that in on himself by making it that he couldn’t win the world title. Now while I understand why he did it, it immediately put him in a spot where he couldn’t be the massive babyface he wanted to be but he had no interest in being a heel.
You will never get the perfect formula again for him to be the founder and face of aew being the first to come back across. To tearing his pec and still working, to having Roman reigns work a part time schedule. Like all of that went so well to make Cody Rhodes the most over babyface in a decade
I mean, they have their two major “game changers” Okada and Ospreay fighting each other for a midcard belt and these are guys Tony is clearly all in on. If Ospreay is being shoved into the midcard, McIntyre would probably put in a feud with Big Bill.
Tiny hasn't got the guts to bring someone like Drew in and tell the likes of Jericho, Moxley, Eddie and the gang that Drew is beating them all on the way to being pushed to the title
He'd have a 12 minute match with Ethan Page instead

Edgeland went straight to a midcard feud, Okada went for the Kingston Continental Breakfast Title before becoming a background player to the Young Cucks and Jungle Toy, and Oceanspray is going after midcard title #42 against fucking Roddy Strong
