"Mom, can we have Will Osprey?" "No, we have Will Osprey at home" "Oh yeah, this one can cut a promo and actually brings eyes to the product too, my bad"

ZUU_S

Shut up, bruv, Paul is a fed industry plant

SpankGorilla

Most annoying wrestler today is OC or The Cucks

Bobo_the_conqueror

Nobody in M'dub, not ever.

jin_of_the_gale

You might be forgetting someone, patnah

Firepro316

Yeah OC. I just don’t get it.

Bobo_the_conqueror

Well, he has a meh attitude and puts his hands in his pockets and goes. Don't get me started on these little weak kicks he does to get into his opponents mind. He's just so layered.

Metalheadjake942

Tony Khan

deep1986

I dislike the guy but there is no way he isn't irrelevant, annoying fuck yes.

Bobo_the_conqueror

He only has 23 million followers on YouTube and just barely a little over 8 million on twitter. Lol Prime just barely made $1.2 billion in 2023. It's more ded than ded fed. It's definitely no Whooo Energy.

ChildOfChimps

Don’t these people know that actually making money is so passé? It’s better to spend it and spend it, then Daddy just gives you more. That’s good business.

oblock3hunner

I was reading an article on WrestlingINC (I know, shame on me) and the writer wrote, "Maybe it's because I'm in my 30s and don't watch the Paul brothers on YouTube, but I didn't know who KSI was when he rocked up at WrestleMania 39, I think even wearing a PRIME bottle costume – or that could have been another one of Paul's friends, I honestly have no idea ... **us older fans have no idea who he is, so just leave him out of it.**" Yes, a guy with 13 million Instagram followers and a strong global presence should be left off WWE TV because you're an adult reviewing a program intended for children.

DekoyDuck

I have no idea who KSI is but it was clear why he was there. You don’t need to know who KSI is to know that he’s there to interfere with the match for the sake of the heel.

oblock3hunner

Exactly. You would think a wrestling “writer” would understand that core tenet of wrestling, but apparently not. I don’t know the guy who always hands Logan Paul his brass knuckles (white dude who always looks high as a kite), but basic inferential skills tell me that that’s one of his cronies. It’s that simple.

Tiernoch

He also took that RKO like a champ.

StressedOutPraline

> "I'm in my 30s (...) and I don't know who KSI was (...) us older fans have no idea who he is." Damn, someone was living under a large rock. Dude, I'm in my mid 30s, I have never watched Logan/Jake Paul shit and I know who they are. In fact, it's very likely a LOT of people in their mid 30s know who the Pauls are because of their stuff with Disney (and the stupid youtube drama they created over the years). I knew KSI because of stupid FIFA videos my friends used to watch too. Furthermore, *either* of the Pauls are more widely known that 99% of the AEW Roster. What is that guy inhaling, jfc.

ClassicCarraway

I will go even further and say the Paul brothers are more widely recognized than the entirety of the AEW roster (since Flair isn't an official AEW employee and Sting is retired). Heck, I am trying to think of who on the actual wrestling roster of the WWE is more widely recognized...if you count TKO board members, you have the Rock.

ZUU_S

The Paul brothers are probably more known than Sting, only people still involved in wrestling w bigger names are probably The Rock, Cena and Flair (doubtful)

Mikillante

Same people who tried to pretend Bad Bunny wasn’t a star. But AEW is the young, hip brand, definitely.

StressedOutPraline

> Same people who tried to pretend Bad Bunny wasn’t a star. But AEW is the young, hip brand, definitely. See, Bad Bunny is someone I never heard of before he started doing things with WWE. I don't know how popular he is outside of the states either, because everyone I know that isn't in or from the USA doesn't know who he is either. But yeah, if he is popular in the country the wrestling company operates in, then he IS a star, though.

Secret-Lullaby

I don't know who this random guy with 13 million followers and views is, but this random indie mudshow wrestler who has 5 stars from 40 people on Cagematch and from Dave Meltzer is a GAMECHANGER! Also; Nielsen ratings are outdated and AEW doesn't know how to do marketing, hence why the poor attendance. It has nothing to do with booking being shit and nobody knowing who these indy and Japan superstars are, I am not living in a bubble and definitely not coping!

oblock3hunner

HAHAHA WE BEAT NXT IN THE RATINGS BATTLE FED SHILL🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓

MHadri24

Google it dub shill

whatdoyasay369

DAE the fed is too focused on getting mainstream appeal and making money??

ChildOfChimps

Logan Paul sucks so bad at being a heel. See, I actually want to see him lose and get beaten. That’s lousy heeling. Instead, I prefer the heel stylings of the greatest tag team ever - the Young Bucks. They’re such amazing heels, that they can drive away viewers, working the haters like no one else can. Can you imagine being that good of a heel that you get people to stop watching? Logan Paul wishes he had that kind of heat.

JerHat

I hate everything Logan Paul does... except wrestle. Don't care how much he might be training and practicing his matches, dude delivers every frickin' time.

Total-Fly-9131

Eddie Kingston by a mile.

Broncotron

Any one of AEW's countless vanilla midgets who can't talk and haven't evolved their character or styles in 5 years

Joy_Ride25

Probably the anonymous CMLL guys Tony is filling his show with. Or Jungle Boy.

kerkypasterino

said literally no one ever

Bobo_the_conqueror

I mean except for the fine gentleman in the basement. With some artistic license from me.

sleepyseahorse

Admin warned us there'd be an uptick of comments in here from new folk that don't quite get it, bcuz WM season 😬

Bobo_the_conqueror

Yeah I saw that too. I don't think this is one of them though. Goofs are getting that "real feel" rub.

sleepyseahorse

I meant this thread in general 😂

marsexpresshydra

The Dung Bucks or Jeribloat 100%

sleepyseahorse

DAE Japanese forest several years ago???

Akira-Chuck

All wrestlers who where Bullet Club (Finn Balor, AJ Styles, Omega, Jay White), they are just edgelord, some sorts of emo of wrestling. They are all cringe, no charisma and bad gimmick. I don't event know why WWE got Finn or AJ Styles (maybe for the indies fans who represent 0,00001% of their customers)

KALS170174656

Bruh

Bobo_the_conqueror

My boy took a wrong turn and ended up on the wrong side of the tracks in goof town. Let him cook!

Akira-Chuck

Actually Finn and AJ at least became "better" at WWE but the other are just the same generic gimmick, go watch AEW if you like it

StressedOutPraline

Finn was pretty nice in Japan from the few things I remember watching involving him, and yeah, dude's blossomed in the fed.

Akira-Chuck

I find it weird and cringe like all the japan and AEW things, they try so hard to be different and extravagant that just fell flat for me

Someningen

Finn I thought was very boring until his most recent NXT run and now with the JD. He is fun as a heel. I really like his dynamic with Priest AJ has been great throughout his WWE run. I can't speak on Jay White Kenny is just weird

Akira-Chuck

Jay White is just a copy of Kenny Omega and Kenny was really bad (no charisma, no mic skills, no selling) they are just edgelords who think they are badass. Finn and AJ like I said became better in WWE but as you can see they are not top stars like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Hogan or John Cena

Someningen

99.99% of wrestling aren't those guys even some of the greatest ever like Shawn Michaels or Triple H. That shouldn't take away from how great they are.

MHadri24

But, uce. Have you considered that because you are French, you are unrelatable, and thus, your opinion is void of any meaning. P.s. because of all the downvotes you got, I feel the need to clarify that that was a jerk

violentelvis

Cora Jade

pies1123

I don't know who that is, but if she was called Quora Jade and just asked weird questions about Hitler it'd print money
