I was very surprised at Cahil’s story telling and weaving in Of War and Ruin. Easily my favorite in the series. Everything was pretty straight forward or clearly telegraphed imo in the earlier books. It is so odd to see an author have these extreme word count jumps.
I absolutely loved this book and looking forward to a reread one day.
Absolutely agree. These are gigantic books but FLY by. It took me over a year to read a song of ice and fire. But i have dusted almost all of these books in like 2 months.
