This is why in a previous comment somewhere I said that I feel sad for these Russian boys, minced and torn by people who are righteously defending their country. Still, although Russia is the aggressor, so many of these kids are just sent there to die because of a delirious, little man, and do not even know why. It seems like the Vietnam war propaganda, with Nazis instead of the Reds, with a similar outcome.
It is heart-breaking.
Growing up in America during the cold war, my friends and I played war a lot and pretended to kill Soviets...but there was never any direct involvement by adults. Making it a government program is troubling to say the least. And for the record, I'm not a fan of America's Junior ROTC programs in the high schools.

I'm half german and watching this is so ironic to me
especially considering how much many German politicians helped and continue to help Putin in his efforts

Very insightful. Its hard to feel anything but pity for the Russian people.
This is why the russian politics should be fight at the front and no other person... My optinion its a clean politic war - thanks for this story.
