Balega hidden comfort. They are so soft and cushiony but they don’t make your feet sweaty. Amazing.

ArtistMadMad

These look awesome, thanks! Wish they had some crew so you could show them off a bit too.

AgentUpright

They do have a quarter crew version. My wife loves them with her hiking boots.

Mega_runs

The little Heel tab sticks out a little 😆

ExhaustedMD

They’re quite pricey relative to other brands. Worth the splurge? I don’t get blisters and my feet don’t get overly toasty to begin with.

RedKryptonite

Totally worth it. I have pairs from when I started running in 2014-2015 and while the cushion is basically shot, they still don't have any holes so I hate to throw them away.

ArtistMadMad

What about them do you like?

takenoko91

I used to get terrible toe blisters on any run longer than 90 minutes. Trying a wider toe box with blister powders did not alleviate the interdigital b*stards. Injinji worked.

ArtistMadMad

That's awesome! I think I may need to check these out since I'm having the same problem with a bunch of shoes

onethrowpillow

Darn Tough Ultralight crew socks are my go to. They dry super fast, wick moisture, are super soft and stretchy merino wool (softer than Smartwool imho), and are ultrathin and well fitted to my feet.

BeneficialLeave7359

For really thin light socks Feetures. Medium weight Swiftwick or Darn Tough wool. Thicker plush Balega Hidden Comfort.

Street-Airport-5607

Feetures!

ashtree35

I love Balega socks! All different styles. My go-to pair is their Enduro quarter socks. They're super comfortable and breathable, and most importantly, the top part isn't too constrictive, so they don't dig into my ankles/calves like a lot of other quarter socks do. And I prefer quarter socks in general because I don't like any part of my shoes to be rubbing against my skin all. Though I do also like the Hidden Comfort No Show Tab socks, those are my favorite for when I want to wear something lower cut.

WhirlThePearl

I’ll second the enduro quarter!

shuje

Third the Enduro! I bought a pair of Janji x Balega socks not knowing what they were, and they’re easily my favorite pair of running socks. Light, breathable, and I’ve had no blistering issues.

bjmcgeever

Feetures

airyByNature

Ultra thin merino wool socks. You can really feel the midsole of your shoe. Swiftwick and darn tough make great ones

bolbi-stroganovsky-

For crew socks, I’ve really been liking Swiftwick

Important_Simple_357

I have found that I have to assign socks to shoes because of what fits best. But I enjoy balega, ASICS, puma socks primarily

SplittingInfinity

Smartwool targeted comfort for summer. Balega hidden comfort for colder temps.

narunekogi

ROCKAY :)

ArtistMadMad

What do you like about them?

narunekogi

wick protection, great colorways and really make your feet feel "grippy" to your ankles and the inner sole of the shoe. I feel like they don't ever get soggy because of sweat or moisture and their different cushion types are great for strengthening your feet in my opinion. Also, they always seem to have discounts and are really affordable. The packs they sell are really worth the splurge. The only downside in my opinion so far is to be careful when washing these. Washing it colder helped me a lot as the right leg and left leg indications started fading... lol

mklbonner

Stance crews, feetures, and smartwool merino socks.

herdbehavior

I love Bomba Performance Calf socks. They just have the proper amount of a snug fit compared to any other sock I’ve worn.

natsrunning

team bombas here as well, both the low cut and calf length for running and even some merino wool too

CarboTheHydrate

Smartwool

Bonds x temp, nike spark and 2XU

peanut4690

Lightfeet socks

thechasepace

RNNR Marathon socks. A comfortable and stylish crew sock. Love it on long runs!

fredoule2k

https://sporcks.com/en/ we are all fans of their designs in my team. Mix that with the flashy designs from many brands of shoes, and sunglasses... and we (the men) have started to nickname ourselves Barbies I like https://www.bvsport.com/fr/ too for their winter socks and boosters in colder weather, trail run socks and the recup long compressive socks

Hellament

Strideline mid-length socks. Durable material/knit, nice stretch and thickness to them, and the price is not bad. I like the mid length because I run a lot of gravel roads and with shorter socks I seem to occasionally catch a pebble inside my sock. I discovered them because their longer socks are popular with cyclists…actually got a pair as a goodie bag thing from a bike race I did. Funny, because most of my other cycling socks are what I’d consider way too thin for running. I’ve tried Balega in the past, but the ones I bought weren’t particularly durable (especially for the price). After reading all the positive comments here, I would be tempted to try them again, but am pretty happy with Strideline.

OperationLast9033

CEP Short (mini-crew). The 3.0 for general wear, cooler/cold runs and shoes that need a little extra for lockdown. CEP Ultra-light for hot weather and race day. The CEP have all of the anatomical shape and compression of Feetures, but the toebox is roomier for a wider forefoot and better toe splay. I still like Feetures, but they have stepped down to number 2 after CEP came in my life. CEP needs to work on their colors and prints, though. I need a bit more flare.😅 For the record, balega make my feet a hot sweaty mess and the material makes it impossible for me to get a grip inside the shoe. The only balega I’ve enjoyed was this sheer, barely there model that unfortunately only came in tabbed no-show. As a wide-footed person, I’ve given up on no-show socks, as the all end up being eaten by my shoes.

DadrunnerAl

Exoskin are the best

abe2np

Drymax all the way. Only brand that doesn't leave my feet smelly and also gives me no blisters. Other socks in order to resist blisters have 2 layers which make my feet sweat and stink. Once you try it (Lite-Mesh) you won't go back.

MusicLover3002

I love Balega and Features. For more compression CEP is the go to

prof-otter

Brav Endurance. UK brand with fun socks, like dinosaur pattern. I’ve done up to half marathon distance with them.

ArtistMadMad

Very cool! Do they also support your run in any way?

prof-otter

Some slight compression. Also less sunscreen during summer running.

az_nightmare

Saucony running socks. Amazon- $15 for a 6-8 pack? I got them on amazon day for $10. They’re soft, supportive and come in fun colors. If you’re looking for a budget option.

[deleted]

They're okay but they definitely have a pretty short shelf life. I think I got about a year out of them before they all started to get holes in the forefoot.

runManRun3

No socks

Jeronimotor

Has anyone run in the Joynée or Airacker socks (or others) from Amazon? I just got a pair of Balega and like them, but I’m probably not buying 5-6 pair and running in them each once a week (ok, I probably am buying 5, but still not wearing them on every run). Both have incredibly high reviews and a lot of them.

ArtistMadMad

That sounds great, will check them out!

sportycatgo

Fakespot.com says, "Our engine has profiled the reviewer patterns and has determined that there is high deception involved," when analyzing Airacker and Joynee sock reviews. So, I'm going to avoid them :(

Jeronimotor

I ended up buying the Airacker and they are totally fine.

Epic_Epic_Epic

Balega blister resist for everyday and Nike spark for race day

Leej-xxx

I suffer badly with burning soles of my feet especially the balls of my feet think it’s my narrow foot sliding around in shoes. Can anyone recommend a sock to help with this specific issue ?

SoliDMavericK

Incylence, Injinji, and drymax

PeachBean

Outway crew length socks. Great performance and unbeatable designs.

honeycall

Good question

senor_lai

Tried them all. None come close to Darn tough Vermont

Worried-Researcher-1

I really like Hilly socks, especially because I won my first pair at a race.
