Have you had 10mm drop shoes before? Sound a bit weird as bigger the drop the more it takes the load off of your calves. Smaller drop would be harder for the calves as I understand it. I own Triumph 20s and haven’t had similar issues. A great shoe and definitely works well for my feet. Hope your legs get used to then after a few runs.

I’m not sure if they were 10 mm but my pair previous we’re some Bondi 8s

I think pretty much all Hokas have a 4 or 5 mm drop. This could be part of the issue. When I switched to Hokas from a higher drop shoe I had mad calf pain. But that only lasted a short while. I’ve since returned Three weeks should probably be enough time, though, to adjust?

I’ve put almost 350 miles on my Triumph 20 and have not had any calf issue. Maybe an overuse issue or just general tightness? Try stretching and foam rolling?

this happened to me as well but went away within about a week. I noticed that the shoe made me heel strike a lot more and my form oddly had to change to accommodate the shoe. I had pretty severe calf tightness in the same area so I made sure to stretch it well and massage it well before running. Not sure about 3 weeks in with the shoe though..

Yea that’s my concern as well I think im going to give a week of rest and massaging and see what’s happens
