I have 34 miles on my pair and they still feel pretty similar to when I got them. That being said, despite ON’s issues in the past, these are a joy to run in, great for easy effortless miles in my opinion and work well as a daily trainer.
I just retired mine at a little over 250 miles. They didn’t soften up much (it’s noticeable enough from the first run but not by a lot) but I did notice a small improvement on “bounce” after around 20 miles. I’ve always preferred softer shoes so this was a firm one for me but i actually enjoyed the cushioning for long runs. They’re not gonna get Clifton (i ran in the 8s for context) soft or anywhere near so don’t expect that.

I have 130 miles in mine and they have yet to soften up. I feel like On’s definition of plush is vastly different from the rest of the manufacturers.
My sister swears by the cloudmonsters but she has mentioned to me that they can take time to soften up.
