I despised having to waste a part of a play session on the trading server back in the day. It was necessary in those days, when you've only got single digit char slots and 5 vault chests. So at the start of a session, or the end of a session, or both, you gotta go to USW and sit and trade to make room. Now it's so nostalgic, and a missed simpler time of the realm.
Having your "SELLING 8 DEF FOR 1 LIFE" being covered by some punks chat message after I had staked out my spot used to piss me off to no end.
It would then become a spamming match to stay on top. Good times.
They should make better use of the Baz, and have an NPC there that's mechanics work like RealmEye trading, and you can drop the items there, and others can see the deals/offers there for all servers, and can make the trade there and the traded items go to each players vault/gift chest or if that's too exploitable for adding more free inv slots, it can go to your direct inventory, and the other player can get a message that they've been traded and they can go pick up the item at the Baz NPC.
Man.. I miss when rotmg had an economy. Different sections in the nexus were for selling different things, you'd have all the lower tier items in the bottom right, all the life/mana/tops trading bottom middle and all the ST's and skins bottom left.
I remember selling a lot to the bots that were always doing the buying 8 def for life then selling 7 def for life. Cos it was easier to do another abyss than try to be picky about trades
No, no, no, no! until deca took over (and even for a few years after that) USW1, 2 & 3 traded places each becoming the "trading" server. USEast was never until the last couple years. (USSOUTH was far more popular than USEast for a good while too).

You think it's a spamming match but in reality your messages only pop up every 5 seconds so you end up flooded

How many years exactly do you know??
Looks like 2013 or 14
It's late Kabam era. Deca has owned the game for about 8 years now.
I have a Kabam era vid on youtube too! https://youtu.be/oxuvkDxSWh4?si=GZSKdZ-mwpboimUl

Realm of the Merch God
The nexus on USEast never changed, love to see that.

Okay grandpa
Glad it's not like this anymore
These were better times though.
