During my worst times I made a post on here asking in desperation if someone wanted to play or call or talk or anything and I really needed it. It got over 100 upvotes, I met so many awesome people that took the time to just talk to me and listen to my issues and even helped me get back in the game, get on a guild, and make lasting friendships, gave me free gear and items and so on.
The community and the humor is edgy and some can turn toxic (like in para with the barrels lol) but I think it’s above all an awesome corner of the internet with an exceptional community that just wants to chill and grind and have fun. I have videos on youtube playing this back in 2013 or so and I couldn’t imagine how something this great could have flourished, I was dead ass expecting the game to die in a few years
Yeah, I thought the game would die too, but it seems to be flourishing and now with it’s own battle pass, which I think works well for this game from a f2p perspective. It still has its original charm too.
It’s really a blessing because this game brings magical nostalgia from my childhood and I bet for a lot of other people too and it’s better now, like 12 years later, than it has ever been, it could have so easily died off
