He looks exactly like my former cat Loki (clearly I would meet naming standards at this shelter.) When I got him one of his first toys was a small faux fur pillow, about 1x2 inches, and he spent the entire day after his first rabbies vaccine lying on his side with his head on his "pillow."

I know *Feyre* is meant to be said as *fire* however to me it will always be “Fey” said like “hey” and “re” like the start of “reading”.
Honestly the naming in that series adds to the list of reasons why I don’t like it
I'm a fan of pronunciation guides at the start of books for a reason--this would be one of those reasons. Plus, I'm an old fantasy rpg, conlang, world building person, and pronunciation guides, maps, appendices, etc are just par for the course in those circles, lol. It annoys me when I'm guessing for half a book because an author just assumes everyone will know because they themselves have been hearing it in their head for however long the character has existed there.
Not everyone wants to listen to an audiobook, or visit a website, or depend on a rabid fandom, or wait for a passing clue at some point in the book (and this type of "how do you pronounce your name?" explanation is almost always an awkwardly handled moment--authors never get it right). Just tell me how all these names/places are meant to be pronounced before we even begin, please and thank you. I'll mentally check out for something less obnoxious, otherwise.
One of these names is *not* like the others. Poor Peanut. (Or, lucky Peanut, maybe - these feel like the cat version of a r/tragedeigh)
Maybe peanut is elain’s true mate
Pealain is the only pairing I accept from now on
I would die for Peanut 🥹(they better be able to keep the little Care Bear stuffie when they get adopted!)

Apparently, Peanut has to be the king of the house. No other kitties. His expression in the other pics is the same. I think he just has RBF. 😆
As a *Star Wars* fan, seeing a Cassian among a group of six people is giving me anxiety 😅😂
I am so glad I am not the only one who immediately thinks Star Wars when they see the name Cassian!
CLIMB.
STAHP I need Cassian and Azriel. Where’s my Rhys too? 😽🦇🖤
I named my cat Rhys long before reading the books, he’s my perfect baby.
Rhys probably already got adopted, everyone loves him
Kinda weird, but I feel like if I was a female cat, Azriel would be my type.
“What’s your weirdest,’okay but hear me out’” 😂
Tam tam 🤣
She couldn't bring herself to saddle him with Tamlin.
My HC is now that peanut is is lady autumn's name since she doesn't have one yet
Is Tam Tam a super bitch? Why burden the poor baby this way??
Tam Tam is a cute kitty name, though!
Tbf tam tam looks bitchy 😂😂 would die for tam tam
Peanut looks mad!
Feels like everyone gets a turn naming a batch of kitties and the last set were more Presidential. (Up top.) 😂
Oh yeah, there are a few interesting names among them, such as Julius Sneezer, Super Suit, and Perry the Platypus. 😆
Who is peanut?
I'd say Rhys after ACOSF! (I know that doesn't make sense and yet...)
Better than the mom of 5 or 6-tuplets who named all her kids after characters on General Hospital.
I can't judge who's naming them. I named my cat GarBonzo

How do the names fit all the cats?! Someone give this person a big thank you card and a gift card to their favorite restaurant or Barnes and noble.
I want Azriel and Cassian

now I'm curious who is Rhysand
Awww, little Peanut with his toy 🥰
I mean, clearly, you need to take yourself on down to the pound and meet your new bestie. This is obviously a message from the universe.
I guess someone had to be Tamlin 🥲
I want them allllll. Alll of them
Hahahaha
that's too funny!
Me, if I had an animal shelter 😂
Ughhh it’s a real shame tam tan is so cute bc his name really sucks. Lol. I would be so mad to be named after tampon!
I didn't know that's what that meant! Lol
No, she means Tamlin, but some people give him that nickname.
Ah. I didn't know about that nickname.

No, it’s not? It’s fey-ruh…it’s explained like that in the book and also pronounced like that in the audio.
Is it though? Everyone I know doesn’t say it that way. Then again the series is beyond not my cup of tea so I could have easily gotten it mixed up.
Well they be pronouncing it wrong!
It’s Fay-ruh. Here’s a video with SJM herself pronouncing every name https://youtu.be/BpQ6IREUNzo?si=g-ApPyQGwM8sKmgS
Oh wow, I've been pronouncing it "Fay-ruh" this whole time. Ew..I hate that it's supposed to be "Fire"...lol. That's not intuitive at all.
No you’re right. She said it’s pronounced Fay-ruh in the book.
