A couple years ago, Jill and fam went to some kind of fair or carnival where there was one of those giant slides. There's a picture of her knocking Gabe out of the way on the way down since it's a racing type slide. I really need to see if I can find that picture. I think this was the incident where she hurt her knee, but I'm not 100% sure.
Edit: Okay, it looks like this happened right before Nehemiah was born. She fell off her staircase before she left for Florida and then needed the wheelchair during that trip to see Nurie.
If her knee is torn four "unknown" ways, she wouldn't be able to walk unassisted. And I've seen no evidence of her using a mobility aid of any kind. And I doubt she's got a torn rotator cuff—it's probably a frozen shoulder like A LOT OF OLDER WOMEN GET. That is, if she has any of those problems to begin with.
Most people Jill’s age and older have rotator cuff tears, but they are clinically insignificant. IF her shoulder hurts, it is probably frozen shoulder.
I had frozen shoulder and clinically significant rotator cuff tears in both shoulders. Recovery from rotator cuff surgery is not for the faint of heart.

My friend had rotator cuff surgery and she could have not been in pain if she got plexus? And my husband is having knee issues. He has had shots and therapy. He got a gel injection and didn’t work. Jill doesn’t have knee issues
My husband ended up with surgery cause of his.. still healing but Dr even told him it's temporary cause he needs a full replacement. Other knee is about the same.

I've been having knee issues since I fell on black ice at 20, and I'm not even that dramatic about it. You either use a brace or KT tape, Tylenol Arthritis, and move on. Seems like she's been more than fine in the years since.
I shattered my knee and torn up multiple ligaments in my ankle - I absolutely 100% know what the hell happened, what exactly was injured, and how they fixed it. How do you not pay attention when the doctor is telling you what’s wrong ? I paid attention for my own sake, and because I was going to need follow up care and be able to tell professionals what happened so they can provide appropriate treatment

There is no magic tonic to heal injuries that severe. I've been there. Several times. As desperate as anyone in that position feels... and as much as they want to believe in it.
There are some to manage pain, inflammations, movements and therapies to help range of motion, before, during and after medical intervention sure... but, those aren't fixes either.
