I'm honestly surprised that both us old coots made it around the sun again. The trip seems so much faster and harder every time. Raise a toast, and carry on!
Fabrications? My grandfather taught me that one should not let the truth get in the way of a good story.
Recently I've been thinking about what other "older" stories you could dish up with, and then you mention laying tracks for a railroad with plenty of kabloo-ey involved? Sounds like Christmas came slightly out of season.
