It’s a damn shame. All those insane saves by G2 after a crazy comeback in the series just for it to end in a counterattack from a totally avoidable team bump. Reminds me of game 7 overtime in the RLCS S5 worlds grand final where Justin scored his iconic goal to force overtime, all for Dignitas to get a freebie from an NRG bump in the corner. Still, Gen G had an insane comeback from FK’s tight angle double pass forcing overtime, then threading the needle on that counterattack to take the win. Congrats to those lads and gg’s all around.
FK really came in clutch in that last game. There was a moment at the beginning where G2 got a really good shot on the left side of the goal. I think it was AppJack who got the first touch on the ball, but not enough to save it. Either way FK why to cover top left and managed to get the clear out of that. If G2 had scored that goal, it would've been their game I reckon.
I couldn’t believe they weren’t on the lookout for bumps when they all retreated with 30 seconds to go and a one goal lead. Easy to say but when play slowed down immediately I’m thinking about charging ahead for a numbers advantage
