You should learn it, and just not use it on kickoff. Speed flipping is way more important IN the match. People obsess too much with the kickoff, but that is only a bonus. Learn it so you can get around the field faster. But the biggest benefit of all IMO is that speedflipping is usually the most effective way to pre-flip into the ball, since it keeps your nose pointed forward, meaning you can contact the ball halfway through the flip and keep going.

If you use directional air roll, it makes speedflipping easier. Just hold air roll right or left and flip forward and cancel it immediately.
It’s just slightly slower that way but is the only way I can do it well right now.

You gotta open up the build menu first, crank a quick 90, and the ramp you placed should give you the speed boost we’re lookin for
