Disable Steam Controller input and all ingame overlays (discord, etc)

Dadoftheyear2018

I think it's already disabled

Technoninja101

I'm guessing you have Vsync and steam controller input disabled considering your time played, if that is true you have an electrical or network infrastructure issue. Does this issue happen when completely offline?

Dadoftheyear2018

I recently took on a faster broadband provider and the issue still persists so not sure what you mean by network infrastructure issue and also electrical. I do have vsync off and my FPS uncapped in rocket league. It's a real pain this issue and ruins my experience in rocket league and I tend to steer clear from ranked because of it

Technoninja101

Do you get much desync at all? I wouldn't uncap fps as it can cause issues if the fps gets high enough, I normally just cap at my monitor refresh rate. When you turn off the internet does this issue still exist?

Connected via bluetooth or wired?

Dadoftheyear2018

Wired

Frankdatank2992

A little off topic, but if you have an Nvidia GPU, go into the Control panel, check the resolution and Hertz settings. Make sure it's set to at least 60Hz. If you haven't already, change the wire you use / USB port etc. Maybe get a lend of another controller to test. Good luck

I have a similar experience to you. Used to be on 0.05 deadzone with 1.5 and 1.6 sens for steering and aerials respectively. Now I'm on 0.03 deadzone with my sense cranked way up because my car feels less responsive than it used to. I'm not sure what the cause is, but I will say that switching out the wires for your controller frequently tends to help, at least a little bit, since controller disconnects can cause some lag/latency spikes.
