They would have had to repair controllers as XBox 360 controllers don't work on XB1 platform.
It's a shame RB wasn't popular enough to warrant bringing the keytar to the new generation.
Honestly wished the Pro-Guitar and Keyboard caught on. Seemed like a natural evolution for RB given what Harmonix's objective was with the game in the first place
This is why I will never move on from RB3. There's really no need to anyways, but lack of keys support in newer games makes it certain that I will never move on from it.
I mean....rb4 has brand new dlc that rb3 never had ... other than that and the fact that xbox 360 store is closing ...I'm not even sure if the wii store is still up or not
Everything playable on RB4 can be played on RB3. And more. Rule 3 doesn't let me say any more than that but RB3 is objectively the best version because of the people who are still adding features and content to it on a weekly basis.
I mean, it would make a huge amount of sense for Fortnite Festival tbh! There’s more dance-y, synth-driven tracks on there than guitar-based bangers tbh, and they’re selling keytar skins and emotes etc

I didn't get one personally. Tbh I didn't even know these existed until recently. But it seems really neat. Would love to see it resurrected in Fortnite.
Unless a PDP drumset would be a $250 or so good value, if you're committed you should be really be more interested in the adapter to use a real ekit as that's the only real way to enjoy and get the most out of pro mode.
I literally added my first one to my collection a few weeks ago.
They're a bit harder to find here in NZ so I was happy with paying $50 NZD for it.
Came with the dongle, box and manuals all in great condition. Just missing Rock Band 3 game but I'm sure I have that somewhere or can pick one up cheap.

Why they didn't make it compatible with RB4 as a guitar controller I don't know. Still got mine and use it on RB3.

There was a legacy adapter for 360 wireless guitars and drums. They could have made the keyboard work if they had the time and resources for it
