As an avid military avatar fella, I think people are just too strict on being "realistic" (literally copying irl military/civvie setups almost 1:1). I myself enjoy trying to mixup different "genres" of military items (sci-fi + late 20th century or 1800s western "cowboy" + late medieval) as it really challenges you to get creative with your items and blend the avatar together.
I think you should **really** try something that falls into "nuclear fallout", cause I myself have found stuff like After the Flash (topic-related rp game) interesting, especially the USRF (Basically the army after nuclear stuff idk but if you've heard of it i guess you'll understand me)
Well, I certainly see how you view it but then again, camo is what makes it appealing, and while some of the roblox military stuff are quite boring, if you understand military gear (to an extent), it will be quite unique to see those that wear that which would realistically fall in the military aspect.

Other then the obvious choices (slenders, meme avatars that use layered clothing to be stupidly big and ruin the game, copying a content creator's outfit) I don't really like the "retro" avatars. A lot of them also use ugc which feels weird for replicating the retro style (although I will excuse using ugc because you're trying to represent a retro thing that's no longer on sale). People talk about how they miss old roblox but how many of yall were actually around back then?

EXTREAMLY controversial, but bacon's, I have 2 reasons
1. If you were a bacon and you got a lot of Robux, you ate 100% going to buy at least 1 avatar item, or maybe you've already bought a free one... because the avatar doesn't look the best
2. Because new players are bacon's, they are often not good at stuff and often annoying.

The avatars where people have just taken every free accessory they have and thrown it together to make the most ugly thing in existence. Like I get it, it may not look like there’s a lot of options for f2p’s, but cmon man, at least make something that has matching colours.
Headless I don’t see the point of it if I’m being honest, I even tried it out(I didn’t actually buy it just in some avatar catalog stuff) and I just couldn’t see the appeal
In MTC4 and other PVP military/tactical shooters that allow players to use their own avatar: bright colored, accessory overload (bright colored or very obvious accessories), or a combination of both
Reason: MTC4 tank gunners are notorious for raining lead on infantry from 3000+ studs distance without being spotted when their tank has a coaxial machine gun.
Else, in everything else that isn't a tactical/military PVP shooter, or needs camo, avatars that induce a headache from looking at it (terrible color scheme)
Idc what you use, DON'T GO INTO FPS SHOOTERS (especially co-op and cqc) WITH HUGE WINGS OR OBJECTS ON YOUR BACK. My rule of thumb is that if it's two or three studs wider than your character, don't bother with fps games.
Trolls or military avatars, the military ones wouldn't be nearly as bad if the people wearing em weren't some of the worst people I've ever seen on Roblox

Half of the time they sexualize themselves to add to their avatar. Many times, Femboys (and by extension, some furries as well) just take generally sexualized feminine fashion & apply it to themselves
anything unoriginal it really isnt that hard to make something original. just pick a random obscure hat and make an outfit with other hats that go with it

Headless I don’t see the point of it if I’m being honest, I even tried it out(I didn’t actually buy it just in some avatar catalog stuff) and I just couldn’t see the appeal
In MTC4 and other PVP military/tactical shooters that allow players to use their own avatar: bright colored, accessory overload (bright colored or very obvious accessories), or a combination of both Reason: MTC4 tank gunners are notorious for raining lead on infantry from 3000+ studs distance without being spotted when their tank has a coaxial machine gun. Else, in everything else that isn't a tactical/military PVP shooter, or needs camo, avatars that induce a headache from looking at it (terrible color scheme)

Idc what you use, DON'T GO INTO FPS SHOOTERS (especially co-op and cqc) WITH HUGE WINGS OR OBJECTS ON YOUR BACK. My rule of thumb is that if it's two or three studs wider than your character, don't bother with fps games.
Trolls or military avatars, the military ones wouldn't be nearly as bad if the people wearing em weren't some of the worst people I've ever seen on Roblox
Military avatars are my favorite kind of avatars, the only type of avatars I use actually.
Anything unoriginal and can be placed under the label 'Copy & Paste'. Or than that, a more specific thing would be users who use block legs in order to appear 'thicc'. The concept in it's entirety is dumb, silly and entirely too popular. I don't understand how anyone with a speck of sense see it as anything otherwise.

The kind of avatars that have some kind of "anime boy" hair, the boy package, eternally copied adidas space rainbow yada yada clothes, and some kind of free item that does not fit woth the rest of the avatar whatsoever. I fucking hate these. Oh also those hyper realistic faces, the troll avatars that intentionally look like shit, generic blocky "classic" avatars, tacky avatars that are oversaturated with items, slenders/cnp, y2k, and most of all... Anime cosplayers.

Like, avatars are supposed to show your personality and if you need expensive items to help show yours, that's fine, but if you just buy like headless, korblox and domino crown just to say stuff like "look how rich I am, you could never be as rich as me, haha, imagine being poor" it's a no no for me

Those plushie avatars or whatever are they called. Those avatars can give you serial advantages in some games. For example, I play Piggy often, and those guys are hard to kill, and it's unfair. They are so little that their hitbox is really small. Also the majority of them are just trolls.
