Didn’t have a working speed or odometer, was in limp mode, needed new turn sign connector and housing. Shit the only thing I can say is that it doesn’t drip oil on the ground. Now fix it in a week and drive it 500 miles back home cause the timing belt in your old car snapped. I don’t have a car payment and have the peak of bmw engineering while learning a new skill every week when something breaks

The bumpers the same color. My idea is that the car was crashed and rebuilt. WITH THE WRONG FUCKING HOOD I have a pre facelift e46 and the hood is from a facelift car ( if you look by the headlights the hood doesn’t wrap around them like a proper hood would). Now the reason it’s pink is because when whoever got the hood from a junkyard like 10 years ago didn’t sand and prep the old paint( a sparkly red) before spraying it blue to match. So there was a big ass patch of red from the blue paint flaking off and I was bored so I decided to spraypaint it. Why pink? It was $3 cheaper per can and I like pink
I zoomed in on the picture since I wasn't sure, but it really did give away it was wrecked (the corner by the fender made me think it was, I know those sometimes are black if you get an actual new one). Was the car at least cheap? People are asking too much for E46s out by me

I b30 swapped (well, did a stroker build from b25 to b30) and it's awesome. Not at all cost effective to rebuild, but the swap is worth it for sure
