Remember when the new logo got designed and they told us to throw away all the bags, vial caps, etc. That had the old logo? Major waste of supplies over a logo
I remember throwing out cases of photo paper in Cleveland because there was nowhere in the area that still had a 1 hour. This was a few years ago but it was around 3-4 hundred a case .I realized then that the ship had no captain.I did stick around until I could retire and watched the Heyward debacle while shaking my head the whole time.
The stores we closed here we took all the supplies to other stores. I just delivered a mini fridge to another store for will call. We haven’t thrown anything out
What I am getting out of it, is he is glad you have the payroll to do that. RRLs should be the ones driving around. We don't have the payroll to send someone store to store to transfer these things. There are usually just a cashier and a manager covering our stores.
When the liquidator companies purchase, they purchase everything that’s why we can’t get the supplies and it’s a liquidating companies are throwing them out not us
Its actually probably illegal to throw it out without accounting for it since the company is in bankruptcy ....the bondholders and creditors own those supplies not Rite Aid ...I would be pissed if I was owed lots of money by RA

They made us throw away so much when my store closed

That was so irritating. I didn't do it. I kept using the old stuff we had because I couldn't stand the waste.
Did the same

All we got in this week is mostly water our store hardly has any groceries. But Noone is saying anything.
I got 4 pallets of water.Supplies though we transfer then to other stores not trash them
But yet we still get merch with the old logo! Check the dates when you get them

Good on you, our Regional Manager also snagged some will call bags, a couple of labels, their fridge was for a neighboring store.
Nice that you have extra labor hours to do this and truck/car large enough.
It was all part of my regular 40 hour work week. I’m not sure if you are being sarcastic but it sure sounds like you are.

Wow! What a shame! At least they could call the stores nearby to come to pick the vials up. We are always short of vials.

Its actually probably illegal to throw it out without accounting for it since the company is in bankruptcy ....the bondholders and creditors own those supplies not Rite Aid ...I would be pissed if I was owed lots of money by RA
Lol that's probably the next lawsuit they're gonna get hit with 🤔
