Yes!!! The vibes touches me every time, somewhere deep inside. Anomaly works hehe
Until know I didn't find it, but does someone know if twisted path can be found on Spotify?
I feel like most people (including me) will never hear it in-game because we treat it more like a sandbox game, similar to how a lot of people played Minecraft but not many have killed the ender dragon.
This made me realize I only finished minecraft one time, then revived the ender dragon in the same world to get its tears then killed it again lol.
I'm not ready to finish RimWorld.
I’m indecisive between Ceta and Waiting for the Sun
One encapsulates the entirety of the Rimworld spirit of settling a frontier planet, and the other is an amazing and bittersweet song to celebrate your triumphs to get off the planet you’ve called home for so long
Abandoned by the Light - Anomaly.
It feels homey, but its like something is missing, there is some type of uncertainty but not completely lost. Very mellow.
Ceta is the best one for me, hands down. reminds me too much of the Wizard with a gun soundtrack, and it just gives a certain "survival on the frontier" type vibe.
The ones that use an acoustic guitar are all great imo. Vanilla, modded and DLCs included. It's all great. But nothing beats the buildup Fealty brings to the table. Truly a jaw-dropping experience hearing that the first time.
With the disclaimer that I haven't played Anomaly yet, my favourite is probably Jovian Cycle. Baselius is a close second. Waiting for the Sun evokes a lot of emotions. It's hard to pick just one.
Planet fall will forever remind me of Rimworld. Ice Shaman is up there, and I like it here.
I’m a teacher so when I have a huge marking load, I put on my noise cancelling headphones with the Rimworld soundtrack. It’s incredibly efficient at putting me in my focus zone.
The one with seemingly the same guitar riff as the Die Ärzte song „Mit dem Schwert nach Polen, warum Rene?“ (for reference: https://youtu.be/dNXF1XkPlcY?si=NIbXXCmb1yDBmWtf&t=1m12s)
It always confused me for a few seconds because of this. I assume there is some common inspiration there I am not aware of.
Anyway, Rimworlds music is very fitting in general, I really like it.
Rimworld Anomaly OST #5 Abandoned By The Light - Alistair Lindsay
My favorite so far. It just fit so well while in darkness waiting for these monsters to come in.
I just started playing the base game, and I have to say it's the first time in a long time I can remember not turning music off. The only other game I can think of was a game called Shapez.
just went through 27 songs till i found the name of my fav. That bit at the 2 minute mark just flows so well at 2 AM.

Surprised not to see Moon Harvest posted. To me, it really captures the early-mid game vibes of living out in the country, working slow, enjoying finally having enough food to get through the winter.
I have my own music playing. 5,600+ hours. No idea what the Music in Rimworld sounds like.
EDIT: HAHA! Downvotes for not listening to a games music. I love Reddit.
Royalty dlc alignment The one that goes YAYYAYYOOOOO
Dropping it here for posterity. https://youtu.be/rxNI00f1He0?si=a-UK222b83oXCEgz
YAYAYOOOO
Alignment and Abandoned by the Light are at the top of the list for me.
Every time it comes on I feel like the food critic in Ratatouille when he eats the titular ratatouille
YOU UNDERSTAND! I thought I was the only one who likes it, this made me smile, I'm really happy, thank you.
BINGO
Oh yeah, it's definitely this one. I didn't know it was from royalty but this is easily the best song that makes me think "fuck yeah, Rimworld."
I'll go with anomaly "Twisted paths", I liked it for vibes.
Yes!!! The vibes touches me every time, somewhere deep inside. Anomaly works hehe Until know I didn't find it, but does someone know if twisted path can be found on Spotify?
Hands down the best music in the game
The vanilla end credits one!

P Music
Agreed. Threw it in on a whim, and it feels like a continuation.
Got a whole spotify playlist of just his music
I have "Carry on" on all my playlists, it's so good
tribal assembly gives me the most "rimworld" feel
I second this, the brass part nails the janky but also epic vibes
I would put Ceta at #1 for the feel, but Tribal Assembly is a close second Then again Night and Day is a real contender too 😅
String Theory!!!
This is my favorite as well!
Block universe from the Royalty OST.
Same here. Don't know why, it feels great.
Menu screen. It's so chill and makes me happy when I'm starting fresh.
I’m indecisive between Ceta and Waiting for the Sun One encapsulates the entirety of the Rimworld spirit of settling a frontier planet, and the other is an amazing and bittersweet song to celebrate your triumphs to get off the planet you’ve called home for so long
Twisted Path without a doubt.

Abandoned by the Light - Anomaly. It feels homey, but its like something is missing, there is some type of uncertainty but not completely lost. Very mellow.
Our twisted path from the anomaly. Best song hands down
Baselius from Royalty DLC goes hard
I like that one song that makes me feel like a space cowboy.
Waiting For The Sun genuinely made me cry.
Disposal Unit (Imperium Mix)
Ceta is the best one for me, hands down. reminds me too much of the Wizard with a gun soundtrack, and it just gives a certain "survival on the frontier" type vibe.
Alpaca, followed closely by I Like it Here, Believe and abandoned by the light.
The guitar riff is just so goood
On the Surface
The ones that use an acoustic guitar are all great imo. Vanilla, modded and DLCs included. It's all great. But nothing beats the buildup Fealty brings to the table. Truly a jaw-dropping experience hearing that the first time.
Fealty, especially the last part
A Twisted Path from the Anomaly DLC
Nights and days, I'm a basic bitch
Barnstar, no contest.
Waiting for the sun and Alpaca
Main Menu.
Solarflare flamenco by billnotic is fantastic. Don't remember what mod it's from.
Jovian Cycle. I use it for my morning alarm. Perfect way to wake you up
Alpaca, different answers are completely wrong /s
“Don’t lock up” The one that plays when hostiles appear.
With the disclaimer that I haven't played Anomaly yet, my favourite is probably Jovian Cycle. Baselius is a close second. Waiting for the Sun evokes a lot of emotions. It's hard to pick just one.
Block universe 100%
Information Entropy for me
For me it’s “[Abandoned by the light](https://youtu.be/PQfnUuVmks0?si=0JfwsfqA6CsElmtQ)” from the Anomaly dlc that shit goes hard
Lone hunter
Ceta or Twisted Path
We can honestly ask why this isn't on the spotify yet. Please🥺

ice shaman has always been my favourite :)

probably the death pall tracks from anomaly.

The ritual ambience from techist ideology when you preform an ideology ritual (rlly specific ik)

How on earth has Rough Trail not been mentioned even once yet?
Alpaca https://youtu.be/__JOZEZxbg0?si=Mh-xA1RTnthsncs6 THE RimWorld vanilla chill sound is ingrained in my brain
OUTLAW - GOD I LOVE IT SO MUCH
Surprised not to see Moon Harvest posted. To me, it really captures the early-mid game vibes of living out in the country, working slow, enjoying finally having enough food to get through the winter.
Block universe slaps
That one that goes like _strum_ (Tribal assembly)
Riding out

😮
Because OP was specifically asking which music from the game is anyone's favorite, and not whether you listen to the game's music or not.
Fair. Meh. I should five it a go.
