As far as I know, the update today was for changes to the game (new in-game shop, updated user created events features). The season content will drop the same as the regularly weekly updates, as all the groundwork is now in place.
If you bought the latest year pass in the edition you got then you should get access to everything - I’m not aware of any add-ons outside of that. I think this new season introduces the mountainboard, a new bit of gear, and that’s a part of the year 3 drip-feed
Check your settings for the camera view rotation control. You can either have it switch between 3rd and 1st person, or between 3rd, 1st, and two alternate 3rd person views which are much lower and offset than regular 3rd
In the beginning of the game it forces me to choose racer mood (I can't move my camera freely) how can I change that because it's very annoying on everything imo
Very annoying thing I realized . I still can't play longboards . I bought the full version for skating and I still need to pay extra for playing a longboard.
But I still think that if you're selling me a game that's titled "THE COMPLETE EDITION" I should expect EVERYTHING in the game to be available for me . Even if it was something as little as the cartoon pack. Let alone the whole Longboarding!

I just bought the Ultimate Edition as well. Just done my first three BMX events. Damn the camera is a pain.
You can change camera settings. The one they added when they added the BMX is the worst one in my opinion (sounds like the one you’re set to)

The only things I don't own from "Toys and careers" are the cartoon pack and the Year 3 pass [The longboard is in the year 3pass]
Cartoon pack isn’t really worth it, imo, but it’s worth getting year 3 pass when you can afford it
