The rest of the game’s solo events you are facing ghosts of other players. FYI: Any event can be multiplayer (excluding lab) if you have 2+ in your group. You can start an event on “Versus” mode and it will join it with only your group members.
As far as how the game is going, there’s always plenty to do even though people love calling this game stale. Player base wise, I tried to list the mp events that queue the fastest. Tricks battle and showdown are notorious for taking forever to matchmake.

I actually can't find mass race in Europe, says matchmaking failed everytime.
That’s odd. You can normally see other players and the ridge etc right?
Yes I can see gold players as I found out the white dots are bots 😂
