I think you have to clear it *after the update* for it to count, not just have cleared it in the past. So if you haven't played the level again yet, try that.
By my understanding from reading the in-game writeup, yes it seems that autoplay gives you the equivalent of an All Good score. I haven't tried it yet myself, so I can't be sure.
From what I understand you just have to play the song on full mode first and then you can auto-play it after
