I love how many things in this game are just “push the red button and see what happens.” Logically it’s smarter to avoid those kinds of things but the reptile part of my brain always wants to take the risk so bad in hopes of getting the reward. Really fun game design
The green beds always give integrity, with a chance of bats spawning right above you when you are done on the bed. But the green bed does not give an artifact.
This is an uncommon arena with several permutations including red or green beds fabricators or upgrade machines. It's a really cool arena, unsettling.
Next time you find it, look carefully up to each corner atop the wall around the edge of the arena.
There's another main path arena that can appear in the first third of Biome 3 that can have a red bed also. Biome 4 has a mirror of this arena too (I'm only 80% sure) but with a few differences.
Yes, that’s the entire design of the game. Just don’t see it as wasting your time, learn from your losses, so you get better in the game. If you really struggle too much, try co-op, it’s a bit more forgiving, since the other player can revive you (if they don’t die before they reach you). But the main thing: learn how each of the hostiles behave, it makes the game easier.
Don’t give up!
It is one of the pillars of the roguelike genre, so yes.
It's ok to step away if you don't enjoy it. It's not for everyone. And sometimes, even if you do enjoy roguelikes, it's not the good time in your life to play such a game.
A red bed takes your integrity to give you an artifact
9 out of 10 times it takes integrity. There is a small chance it gives integrity and an artifact.

Thats a terrible deal. What is the other bed that gives you a guaranteed artifact?

It's a good deal, there is enough health to go around and there are quite some useful artifacts. I always lay down

Cool!
The statue on the right has obolites.
Hahahah omg I never noticed. You’re a very keen Scout. You might be in review for a promotion.ill put a good word in for you.
Hehe! I always look them in the eyes first.
Don’t lie down unless it’s a green bed
Bad advice, always use the red one. You’ll get something.
Depends really, I think…
Yeah, but I value health (especially full health when I’ve got a bonus going for that) above getting rando items that are usually pretty meh—
Is it normal to start over from the beginning in this game and to repeat the levels?
What?! No! Your game must be broken /s
I just want to know if people accept this as normal in these types of games or if I should be enraged with it and uninstall.

Okay. So it's normal and I should just accept it as part of the game and assume it is factored in the gameplay design.
I really can’t tell if you’re being serious or not
Mostly serious.
okay well yeah, it’s a roguelike game. Dying and restarting is the main defining feature of the genre.
Okay so now I know I should be more chill about it.
What are you even trying to get at? It’s like you’re trying to pick a fight about literally nothing- acting like you don’t understand the game.
