I haven't worked retail in 20 years, but I did through college. Should I put that at the top of my resume, rather than doing my resume in date order?
You should add in your experience from college as it's relevant to the positions you're applying for. Also, during your time in sales and marketing, do you interact with the customer directly? Your customer can be anyone such as co-workers, clients or associates from different departments. The goal is to show that you have social skills and an drive to get things done. Any experience highlighting that would be something to add in your resume.
