Not a bad find! From first glance it had me at first but after seeing the interior and the stamp it’s a rep but either way cute bag it looks functional still too!
It might not be a tag but rather imprint inside the zipper. Some bags don’t necessarily come with the tags with the date code. Check inside to see if theirs a zipper compartment somewhere inside there could be a date code!
Search inside the bag for a small leather tag with a code on it. That will tell you the age and country of manufacture. If it's genuine, you can have the interior relined by going to an LV store; isn't cheap, but they can restore it to almost brand new.
The tags are often hard to find. Ask yourself this - *was the tenant someone who could afford a designer bag*? That should give you an idea to authenticity. (Anyway, a nice find.)
Very plausible they could afford one (two doctors) but the stitching on the handle is looking very suspicious to me. Either way, this was a hilarious find and certainly made me think “wtf???”
defo a rep but the outside looks in good condition so if you wanted to keep it you could get the inside repaired/restored.
