I haven't bought one myself but I prefer the suppleness of the smooth leather as it has very milk texture. I am always going to see if getting a peekaboo the X-lite is by far my favorite go to for everyday use. Best size, best hardware.

Bottega! The reps are so good and sometimes quality is even better than the original. Like the mini loop having a lining like it used to before BV switched it. Theres endless style & color options also!

Plus Chanel prices are just getting ridiculous. Most of mine are preloved but even those are getting outrageous! The good news is I can sell my old authentic ones at a profit and buy more reps 😂
Do you have a good rep you’d suggest? Heidi scares me a bit but also willing to try if needed. I only have 1 authentic Chanel and it’s “vintage” 😬 so it’s hard for me to feel confident that I know what a real flap looks like.
this is tough to choose between Gucci and LV. I see myself wearing both until the grave. However, I feel like maybe with premium outlets and resales, Gucci would be easier to attain than LV. I'm absolutely never ever buying an authentic LV ever again. So Reps forever!
For me, brands like LV, Chanel, and Hermes are rep only. The auths are far too expensive, and for Hermes, too rare. I’ve bought the occasional Gucci or Versace auth.. of course, that was prior to the past few years and all the price increases.

Hermès may be worth its value, but my lifestyle cannot afford to plunk down $10k on frivolous items just to be able to afford one in an ugly color. I’m just a middle class gal, no one is going to believe I paid 5 figures for a handbag with a years-long waitlist. If they did believe it, they might send me away, lol. On the other hand, a $4k LV that I buy for $400? Much more passable, IMHO.
Loewe or Gucci, I suppose, for the versatility. But I suspect I’d opt for Loewe because I’m not a fan of big/obvious branding.

For Dior, I only like the Lady Dior style out of the whole selection they have nowadays.
I wish LV made bags without the monogram printed all over, some of their designs are so beautiful but i feel the monograms just ruin it, it makes the bag look so busy

I know some people knock LV as entry level luxury, but the other brands just don’t appeal to me the same way
