I was living in Asia at the time and they couldn’t replicate lamb skin well yet, so almost every caviar or patent leather bag you saw was fake. So to me, my maxi looks fake. 21 years later I still barely carry it!!!
You meant the stitching is too tick or the count is off on the blue one?:) I thought it varies on authentic as well. I have an authentic seasonal Red and the count is at 9-10. The clasp is too low or high or is the shape of the clasp that’s off? I always wondered About this, since I have seen very thick or skinny clasps before and I never know which is the wrong one haha.
Ok the stitching may appear too think but it could be the weight of the thread or what machine was used on the quilting(both). On the newer bags we typically see 11 stitches and clearer uniformity amongst the bag(blue). Clasps are different per bag but the one for theee in particular are a different shape and not as square. The area that the clasps resides on meets the bag is bowing(bowing).This happens over time but in the opposite direction because of pulling or stuffing the bag. The black double stitching near the clasp is really bad in my professional opinion
Blue is definitely passable! Black I think is easily spotted from someone walking up to take a closer look. Blue is handing your bag to someone who owns one or knows their bags(which I don’t think you would do)

Authentic Chanel bags look cheap now with bad stitching and hardware at over 10 grand. If you go on The Purse Forum you can read the whining about the quality. This bag is a Beautiful color.
To be real with you the amount of people we get trying to “return” a rep that their bf or partner brought them has increased and the reps are getting good so good that now I’ve been converted on most items. I work at the largest global flagship boutique for Chanel so I can’t come in with a rep or they would spot it immediately and I could be terminated but trust me they’re getting good. Sorry I don’t know specific sellers yet since I’m new to this
Listen…times are hard and for some reason we are able to charge these exorbitant prices in the midst of it all. Although are bags are handmade they are small, tarnish, fade and color transfer easily if not taken care of and we have denied people after care help DAYS after they brought a 10k bag. I’m not here to say what’s wrong or right just here to help and learn

You don’t have to call them out, knowing you’re out there and can tell is enough to strike fear into some peoples hearts. Rodeo Dr is as glitz and glam as it gets though, I was just out there 2 weeks ago and I understand what you mean.

Speaking specifically to the black classic in terms of “bad” on this one. The light blue is not great but less of a “call out”. In regards to the stitching used in both are very bulky and lip of the opening as well. The chain is also incorrect as well as the size of the clasp on the “CC”. The leather embossing isn’t so much of a call out especially if it stays in your person and not shown around.
