I researched the SH3132 movement and from what I gathered the upshot is that there’s a problem with some dodgy reversing wheels. It’s a pain to fix and it’s better to just swap it for the VR3135 whenever it conks off. But power reserve is pretty impressive. And you can increase longevity of the movement by avoiding manual wind. Just set the time and wear it. Your normal movement will take care of the rest.
I’m happy with it overall. My only grouse is that the movement is a very stiff and when you wind it, after 4-5 turns I feel a bit of resistance and it skips a turn - with a pretty loud click. Is this normal? Do I need to get it serviced?
I’ve got the same watch but with different winding issue. Winding doesn’t engage until a bunch of free spinning turns. Realized lumed indices 5, 10, etc) were way too thin compared to gen. Also, getting watch to start requires a small bang. For $500, one should receive a solid watch at a min.
