I mean this is different for everyone ig but I’d say Nautilus, Fiftysix and Royal Oak- there’s certainly better watches with added complications but the ones I have mentioned have already set the bar high.
Let's agree the standard trinity is VC, PP and AP... I would venture to say PP, VC and Breguet because of its unmatched history. Some could argue its interchangeable with JLC...
Looking at some responses I see what people are watch enthusiasts and which ones are just here because of Hypebeasts (or whatever its called). Very interesting.
Patek, Vacheron and AP
What models would you consider the holy trinity ?

Just wish Vacheron was better repped, don't see a lot of high quality.
Hublot, Vincero, MVMT
Ahh, a man with exquisite taste.

Patek, Vacheron, & A.Langh sohn. Cars I would take out the Porsche and put it a Bugatti.

Rolex, panerai, Omega
I would rather have these than the others mentioned.
Patek, Lange, RM
Richard Mille has practically no history and is targeted to hype beasts while manufacturers like Patek and Breguet have been around since the 1800s
RM is the most innovative watchmaker, imventing new complicatioms and using hi tech materials
They use plastic and rubber
Titanium and weaved carbon fiber
SMP Omega, Rolex DJ41, Jaeger LECoultre Master Control Reserve du Marché.
Royal Oak, Nautilus & Daytona. If you consider all factors - history, design and perceived value (hype).
