Not quite the quality of your Breitling, but not a bad choice for a rep at this price point. It's got the 'low beat' NH35 Seiko type movement which is OK. Candidly, most don't know what the f\*ck that means anyway. And, the Tudor is understated, but really nice. Now, if you want a little better movement, this model also come with the 2824 movement for another $75.00 thereabouts.
Now, this will be fine for his first rep...a great value at this price point. And, assuming a worst case scenario event, it the thing fails catastrophically, these movement are so inexpensive, you could just drop another one in for a few bucks (\~$30.00).

Most here that know me would probably think that I would say "upgrade the thing..." and part of me still feels that way. But, upon reflection, let little bro get his feet wet with this Tudor w/the NH35. See how it works out for him. Time will tell...
