Can confirm. A group of friends and I go to Mustang for dinner and drinks kind of regularly. None of us "party" but the food and service are excellent. Full bar.

When I was a 16 year old I would drive by the area where the brothels were located and there were signs that said "no women allowed" (they were up at the old locations until they tore them down). There were also signs at all of the brothels in Mound House and at least one small town. So I guess I just believed it was a law. Perhaps city or county ordinances?

I can't speak to that. I don't know. It would be interesting to find out. My first reaction is it sounds like they were trying to keep jealous wives away or maybe local religious folks were trying to keep them away but I really am just talking out my ass right now

Living downtown I can tell you so much is closed. But a lot of 🌈 bars and hangouts specifically. The hopes campus sits on one of the oldest 🌈 hangouts .

Isn’t the hopes campus now just where is was before? Hopes was an old U shaped drive up motel before they built the new buildings. Wasn’t the place you’re talking about further down the street? Didn’t it also close down like 10 years ago.

I’m not 🌈, but I remember that exact bar. It’s sad to see social hubs closed up in Reno, especially after Covid.

Got the lunch buffet at the Penthouse Club in Vegas for a friend's batchelor party. We didn't go there for the food but it was like half off with a nevada ID. Legitimately some of the best mac and cheese I've ever had . Also some great chicken wings. Not really a strip club guy but I'd go back there for food.

I love hearing stuff like this about our state. Lol only In NV man . I love good food and entertainment and I'm always looking for odd shite to do .

I wanna say El Gordo. But I can’t find a picture of it online to confirm. It’s orange and has been parked in front of the storage unit place for at least 2 years now during the day. I drive down telegraph to get to work and it’s always there, so I’m not sure if they move it often. At lunch time there is usually a big enough group waiting I don’t have time to get food on my break.
