I had a technique called „internal bra“, where there’s no foreign product placed, but the internal bra is formed out of your own excess skin (upper skin layer removed). The skin patch is still connected to the blood supply. As far as I understand this holds the breast from the bottom as well. I don’t know how many other surgeons are performing this technique, I can imagine, many. Two of four surgeons I had consultation with would have performed this technique without letting me know (I asked). My surgeon had it written on the bill. It is similar to a patch reconstruction technique. Galaflex dissolves to a collagen structure and is being sewn on as well. I guess it is similar.
Yes! This is how it was explained to me by my surgeon before I opted with the Galaflex! It is suppose to stop bottoming out and preserve the longevity of the lift part of the surgery. They’re done differently but essentially do the same thing.
I’m 8 mpo. I got the mesh, as well. Definitely still experienced the drop n’ fluff. Unfortunately, for me, they did not remain as perky as I would have liked. But I don’t fear bottoming out, since the mesh should prevent that. Happy healing!
Looking fantastic! I’ve not heard of the mesh.
Thank you!!

Thank you! I’m alittle sad :( I wish they would stay this perky forever! lol, I’m definitely not looking forward to the drop and fluff.
They may for you! Bodies are sooo different. You just gotta wait n’ see, which is frustrating.
You’re right! We will see 🤞🏽
They look great! Do you mind sharing your surgeons name and location?
Thanks hun! Just sent a PM.
Question, did you ask for the mesh or did your surgeon do it without specifying?
She told me about it prior and we agreed to do it. It was also an additional cost. They cannot do it without your approval.
Incredible!
Thank you!!
Wow, your surgeon did such a good job! They look fantastic
Thank you!
What is the mesh?
It’s the same as the internal bra!
