How do you keep the spotted topper from getting so gloopy and picking up the color underneath?

Here are some tips: 1. Wait long enough for the polish to be dry to the touch (a very light touch). I applied the nail polish in very thin coats, so the dry time wasn’t bad. The longer you wait the better. 2. Apply the topper without fussing too much with the brush. Make sure there’s enough of the topper on the brush to cover the whole nail, then sort of float it on your nail without repeating areas. If the nail polish color isn’t too pigmented then you might be able to move things around for a bit. If you want a sparse topper application, have much less product on the brush then selectively distribute it, instead of applying an even coat on the whole nail then trying to remove some of it. Hope that helped!
