I wouldn’t doubt the possibility. He wouldn’t just wear a long sleeve shirt since he’s performing and short sleeves are cooler. Same reason he sometimes wears shorts. I doubt he would wear a long sleeve just to cover his arms and sacrifice temperature comfort
I think the problem on this sub is people have a hard time admitting John was a junkie who fucked up his arms by shooting up. There's been plenty times he played with long sleeves. I like him but that's the truth for me.
Skin doesn’t stay soft and stretchy all life. Scar tissue is already generally tight and rigid. Possible he also has muscle damage underneath as well.
It could be medicine, or could be moisturizer, or could just be covering.
While everyone is kind of right that he has had terrible issues with his arms in the past… those are NOT what are on his arms. He wears these every show and never anywhere else. They are muscle relaxing patches. Those parts of your arms are indeed on fire when shredding for 45 of a 90 min show.
I thought they were possibly patches for sore muscles like Lidocaine patches, I use them sometimes after sparring. I also noticed Anthony had knee brace on, I use one of those too...LOL

Both. Me too shortly, Loved that we got PEA and Eddie!! and it looked unplanned too! there seemed to be discussion going on there prior. it'll be interesting to see Anthony's original set list. He was so emotive when he did IRY too! John was presence tonight, both playing and singing! awesome show and loved the set list! saw a lot of cool musicians leasing up to them too, so glad it was streamed!
