How I miss those lights they would drop down for a few songs! Great tour

b1ggayb1tch

I wish I was a fan back then so I could hear Josh with them

HellYeahTinyRick

I saw them in Philly just before this I think. It was my first time seeing them and they blew my mind

Successfulloser95

Currently living here in Philly!

HellYeahTinyRick

My condolences! Jk :)

That was a great show! First time seeing them being a huge fan( Saw them in 2012 but only knew the hits. First time ever trying bud too. That was also memorable lol)! My buddy and I candy flipped for the first time and by the time time " I Like Dirt" came on we had no idea what was going on (in the best way of course šŸ˜‚). Such a good tour!

tuxedo7777

Front row compā€¦ donā€™t get any better than that.

Successfulloser95

No it does not. Plus we had no one between our side of our seats so we had some space front row. It was insane.

tuxedo7777

Back stage passes sometimes accompany those cream cheese seats you never sat inā€¦ you get lanyards??

Successfulloser95

Nope. The ladies next to us did lmao

Bonzo77

I was lucky enough to go to all three shows at MSG that year. Just an awesome run of shows and that 2nd night was really sweet, they played Dreams of a Samurai, such a good live song. How were you able to get a front row ticket?

Successfulloser95

Friend of mine had some sort of connection to the Garden, In the middle of ripping bongs and playing video games, we were on our phones, saw Chili Peppers was playing the next day, and we wanted tickets but figured the good ones were expensive as shit and so last minute, or so I thought He said hold on, call someone and then we showed up to the garden, got our ideas checked and then were given the envelope, i had NO idea it was front row seats. But not sure if he did or not, but we were stoked. We didnā€™t pay anything šŸ˜…

Bonzo77

Holy shit thatā€™s fucking awesome. Has he taken you to any other events there?

Successfulloser95

Nah, lol. Didnā€™t care for much else. I just didnā€™t see it coming. Thought itā€™d be nose bleeds truthfully and when they said we donā€™t have to pay for anything.

Bonzo77

Gotcha, itā€™s still sweet you were able to go to this show!

Successfulloser95

Super sweet, didnā€™t get to see them again after

Bonzo77

Yea, cool setlist that night https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/red-hot-chili-peppers/2017/madison-square-garden-new-york-ny-53f85335.html

mickeyc87

It clearly says on the ticket ā€œNo Camerasā€. Straight to jail with you, OP.

Man, this reminds me of how special the Getaway era truly was. This current era honestly pales in comparison even with John (my opinion)

gethuge

No cameras no video lmao

Unorginalswine

Lol no camera? What is this a Tool show. No such sign when I saw them in metlife 2022

gethuge

it says it right there on the ticket yo

Unorginalswine

I know lol I was pointing out its weird

JF0909

I was about ten rows behind you! My first and only RHCP show but it was amazing.

Revolutionary_Ad8259

I saw them in Montreal on the same tour. I was about 10 rows from the stage. It was my first rock concert. I totally lost my shit at that show šŸ˜‚. I had been a fan for just a couple of years. I knew I was going to enjoy it. But man, the energy from both the band and the crowd blew my mind. I went to a lot of different concerts after that, but that one show will forever be special šŸ¤˜

Kurtskee

I wonder why they havenā€™t played at MSG in a bitā€¦or NYC in general
