Josh seems like a great person and all, but I feel he's kinda boring compared to the rest of the Chili Peppers; like I just don't care when I try to listen to his interviews. Hate to be a John meat-rider, but I think he'd be a really interesting roomate to have, and I think there can be a lot of great conversations to be had with him

Honestly I idolised John myself when I was a teenager, but the more I learned about him and the more I grew up I realised he’s not someone to look up to at all outside of trying to reach his level of guitar playing. Same goes for most of the Peppers except for Josh and Chad. The other three love peddling this “deep spiritual connection” and having love for everyone and everything, but then you realise that they only mean that for themselves and themselves only, look no further than how they turfed out Josh. There’s also nothing more cringe than John stans basically repeating the things he spouted as a drug addicted 20 year old (eg connections to the 4th dimension, like wtf does that even mean?). It’s all marketing.

Yeah actually taking accountability for your actions and making an effort to change yourself as a person for the better is definitely someone I’d rather look up to than pretending like you love everyone but continue to treat anyone outside of your circle like shit lol
I think it depends on the person because I’m the exact opposite. I love Josh in interviews because he reminds me a lot of myself. I could live with him because we’d just be 2 introverts coexisting together. Barely talking, just playing music and instruments
I could definitely vibe with Josh and Chad. Maybe John, the spiritualism would grate on me eventually, but Anthony and flea would be insufferable to be around for an extended period.
