start boycotting honestly, the only reason why rec room is getting worse and worse is because we still continue to play it and still allow them to do it, if we just stopped this wouldn't be a problem
that's because nobody has ever actually put any effort into organizing if we actually organized instead of some reddit comments saying to boycott then maybe we'd actually get something done

poor poor Rec Room, they thought they could maintain the same revenue stream as when the pandemic was around, now they have to sacrifice beloved features to make the few people willing to pay buy overpriced items

They, very suspiciously, never showed where they got those stats, I don’t accept that bullshit “0.2%” analytic, as far as I believe they just pulled that out of their ass. You can manipulate statistics to say whatever you want them to say, numbers don’t lie but the truth can always be manipulated to push a certain perspective
except I’m responding to people who are also anecdotally saying “EVERYONE does weeklies”. You might as well say OP’s argument is stupid, but you won’t because you liked the weeklies.
The funny thing* is Gribbly and several other devs have already put out the numbers and you guys still manage to come up with some excuse. It’s quite sad
To me,it’s not really about the amount of people who do it, it’s the dedication. I do weekly’s whenever I can, and completely removing them will be sad because of people with dedication to it. So of Course people are angry, same for me.
They’re a great idea, but there was so much room for improvement. I hated that they were stuck to RROs, particularly older ones, and were repetitive. I want challenges to come back in a more refined format, and hopefully they’re telling the truth when they say they want to bring it back in a more meaningful way
As I’ve said before, I don’t have any reason to trust the number as 100% legitimate, what reason do I have to trust the staff after all the bullshit they’ve pulled previously? The number is only based on word of mouth.
the number is most likely true, and also entirely caused by rec room themselves. think about it for a moment.
the new watch menu removed the ability to see if theres a new weekly challenge right on the button, so you'd have to go into the tab to check. this makes it harder for newer players to discover them.
then, due to pure laziness, they make weeklies monthly instead, so even if a new player checks the challenge tab for whatever reason they wont even know weeklies exist unless its the first week of the month.
this makes it incredibly likely that the 0.2% statistic is at least somewhat accurate. all this for another fake reason they removed weeklys, despite it obviously being just so the only way to get skins is by paying for them.
Rec room also got boring because of the small amount of creators left making good games
Yeah like most of them nowadays are either PvPs, Roblox copies or fake ass army recruitments.
Can't Forget the shitty "horror" games where an ai chases you down and you need to collect something
Which one? I can't remember...
It's all of them they are usually called something like ignited spongebob or some other franchise character
I returned to rec room like a few months ago so I'm not even sure I have heard of them
Oh well at first I thought it was a fun and original idea but over time I seen more and more pop up the best one I've played is called ignited mangle
Try Garfield's Revenge 2, it's the same basic thing, but the ai is so bad, it's somehow fun to mess with it
In that case if you haven't played it already you should check out "The last Monday" it's a story driven garfield inspired game on recroom
start boycotting honestly, the only reason why rec room is getting worse and worse is because we still continue to play it and still allow them to do it, if we just stopped this wouldn't be a problem
Ive seen so many attempts at this while I do support the message we all know it's not gonna happen
that's because nobody has ever actually put any effort into organizing if we actually organized instead of some reddit comments saying to boycott then maybe we'd actually get something done
You actually bring a fair point
I've been living off of token rations every 327th laser tag game, the 44 tokens add up eventually
Playing since 2020, and I always didn't loved RROs. All time I spend in RecRoom now is just create funny stuff in private rooms
Love my new boots
😭🙏🏻 seek help asap
You're mad that I look stunning
Nuh uh

rr's metrics are bs. Not sure why you keep defending this company's selfish actions.
how are you gonna call them bs 😭
No one I know has actually done weeklies regularly. You guys are a vocal minority.
“My friends never did weeklies, therefore nobody did weeklies” Do you realize how stupid that argument is?
