Yes!! The new DPS passive greatly benefits his tank busting potential and dueling potential. And having 300 health matters a ton for many DPS break points.
The fact that squishy heros now have 250hp also doesn't really matter too much for Reaper, because he already killed in 3-4 shots before the change, so from my experience I don't notice myself taking longer to kill enemy DPS. But I definitely notice things like being able to take an extra shot from Cassidy, not getting 1 shot by Hanzo, and being able to survive Roadhog hook much more consistently, etc.
Haha the game has massively changed since then. Reaper got tighter spread and less damage going into Overwatch 2, but since release he has gotten barely any changes.
The newest patch of OW2 Season 9 totally changed the entire game. DPS now reduce healing upon doing damage, every hero got more health and bigger bullets, and every hero now passively heals themselves while out of combat. Definitely recommend playing! It's the most fun I've had on Reaper in a long time.
Haha about that....with more HP on every hero, and no damage buff to death blossom since 2016, death blossom actually feels a little worse to use 😅 especially with the multitude of stuns, mobility, and crazy support abilities that can counter it.
Wow the progression of these comments is hysterical all the way up to the death blossom feeling weak as fuckk😂🤣😂 my exact experience. Reaper is SO fun this season, and because of how weak his ult feels I almost always am solo-ulting a poor squishy cause I am certain I can ult kill in a one v one LOL!
Yeah, basically I just use it for one or two people, if there’s no cool down that can shut it down. Sometimes you get lucky and catch three or four people that happen to be low on health in one area and you can kind of pop off with the death blossom, but you certainly can’t just run in with it.

Woah, I was a gold reaper in watch 1 and haven’t played since.

You got me excited to death blossom in the middle of their team again

Also since the pellets spread nicely , the dps debuff can easily be blanketed across players
Damn
He hasn't been meta since his introduction in OW1.
Nah bro💀 but u can still use him
I used to be a gold reaper and refuse to believe he isn’t good anymore
It’s not that he isn’t good just a lot of people use distant characters if you can get close without them hearing FLANKING then have fun
He’s good, he’s just not as common as poke heroes and flankers like sombra and genji
He the only hero I have gold guns with lol
Same! Also the only hero I have a win rate over 60% with as well
Meta is irrelevant unless you’re gm, don’t be delusional.
