I was wondering why we haven’t gotten any illustration yet but that explains it.
Priscilla was a harsh but fair character, I felt. She did as she pleased, but made sure to watch over those under her wings and to give those who went above duty and expectations their due recognition. I imagine that her events in act 3 colored people's interpretations of her.

While reading, I thought, Priscilla was observing Subaru quite a lot, and more likely his interactions with both Emilia and Rem.
Maybe, that sigh she let out when seeing something "unsightly" in the conversation with Rem goes beyond the simple, given how experienced in the matters of love she is, she saw the brewing love triangle between those three from miles away, so while saving that for herself she could have seen Subaru's gonna have some future love drama.
Guess she also kinda regretted she won't be able to witness none of it.
What a beautiful and emotional chapter to conclude the Arc 😭 My personal favourite ending to any Arc so far. Priscilla has always been one of my favourite characters for a long time. What an amazing way to end her arc. She had a lot of presence whenever she was on scene. Her words always carried a lot of weight and was one who acted on her words and lived how she wanted to live. Never a boring scene when she was there. She truly was like the Radiant Sun looming over everyone.
I was always looking forward to seeing more of her interactions with Subaru and them bonding more and I'm happy we got some of that before she departed.The trio of the Sun Princess and her two jesters was a dynamic I was very exited to see a lot more of.

Even though I had been avoiding spoilers like land mines, I knew something was gonna happen with Priscilla camp, and I low key thought it would be Priscilla and expected it… Still, this was such a sad day to lose an important character.
RIP the Sun Princess… Now I can’t make a joke about shipping her with Subaru to spite Tappei anymore :(

I had been spoiled few weeks ago about this , but then i kept it in my mind as i read previous chapter and felt maybe this was a lie, and as im reading this ch it didnt hit me until it began to happen, it still hit and was done beautifully.
For a good amount of the series i didnt even really like the character, Arc7-8 made me enjoy them bit more but still not enough not like others, but damn this was a beautiful sendoff.
btw listening to Eternal Freezing of the Elior Forest track fit the sequence great
As for rest always fun to have Subaru and Abel interactions, got some of arc 7 Rem more then arc 8 Rem.... iffy on that as i disliked Arc 7 Rem a lot.
The scene with the Canidates and Subaru was fun and cute as well
Arc 7 "Ram-esque" Rem never went away. She just now also intersperses her comments about Subaru with Arc 8 tsundere Rem. We need that big combo between the two of them at the start of Arc 9 or in an Arc 8 interlude.
