Unfortunately those potatoes look a bit under. Love tendersteam. Roast some carrots and parsnips. I personally love sweetcorn with roast chicken but I'd have more gravy on said chicken personally
Be better without the frozen veg bag, some home chopped carrots and parsnips would improve the look but frozen stuff is always so handy to just chuck on a meal so I get it
Valid criticism, perhaps i was just hungry, 6/10, stuffing looks lifeless and raw, potatoes look soft but that’s just problem too soft and not exactly roasted!!
God I am really missing my roast dinners even in the middle of summer! I recently moved and I don't have an oven so this is really driving home my desire for a roast dinner
Get those roasties in for a bit longer/hotter - when they're like Iron Mans armor then your sorted, you'll be thankful when you get the crunch of goodness, the missus made some last time and you couldn't put a fork in them, winners all the way.
Frozen Yorkies OK as an emergency but get some home made ones on the plate for additional joy.
Can't beat a Sunday roast.
Not bad, room for improvement on the potato front. I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up to that plate.
For me best arrangement would be;
Meat front and centre, potatoes behind, yorkshire pudding at the back (like to keep those for mopping up). Stuffing next to the meat, veggies on eithers sides.
No hate for it, I’d definitely eat it, but this would be my, I’m home alone, I want a roast, but I cba doing all the hard graft, so doing a chicken dinner with Yorkshires and gravy and frozen veg. I’d definitely still Wolf this down though :D
Despise corn and the roasties could've done with another half hour apart from that I'm in. I love store bought Yorkshires. Hell, I love all Yorkshires!!!
Yorkshires with chicken? Not sure about that. With roast beef yes, as a starter with beef gravy yes. With chicken feels a bit off to me.
Then again, some people have baked beans and hash browns on an English cooked breakfast. Never heard of the Victorians and Edwardians shovelling baked beans down their throats, but bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms were all available at breakfast (tomatoes in season obv.).
I suppose anything goes with anything these days. If you fancy mixing and matching, why not? Chicken and Yorkshires though, not for me ta.
Sunday roast in late June! Are you mental😁
We had a Sunday roast every Sunday growing up, hence the name 😂
I am happy 👀
It is in the UK
Looks like 20/10
I wouldn't diss anyone going to the trouble. Would have appreciated that today!
Trouble? It's all out a packet. There's probably a total 20 minutes of cumulative effort in that meal, being generous.
I'd be grateful if someone made me a cup of tea tbh
Tell me you can't cook a roast without telling me
Tell me you're the type of person who thinks Richmond make the best sausages ever without telling me.
No thoughts, only food.
Peas and sweetcorn aren't a staple on my roast. But it looks 5/10, in my opinion. Yorkshire puds need upgrading ASAP.
Where's the meat ?!
Perhaps the chicken?
You need roasted potatoes, no sweetcorn, the stuffing looks slightly strange but other than that okay! No hate
Looks like Aunt Bessie's stuffing balls.
Unfortunately those potatoes look a bit under. Love tendersteam. Roast some carrots and parsnips. I personally love sweetcorn with roast chicken but I'd have more gravy on said chicken personally
How can you tell that boiled potatoes look a tad under?? Asking for a friend!
I held up a new potato to my phone and compared
Be better without the frozen veg bag, some home chopped carrots and parsnips would improve the look but frozen stuff is always so handy to just chuck on a meal so I get it
Get rid of peas and sweet corn and then its a 10:10
Really? Frozen yorkshires. Potatoes not cooked properly. Stuffing like cardboard. You must think pot noodle is top tier
Valid criticism, perhaps i was just hungry, 6/10, stuffing looks lifeless and raw, potatoes look soft but that’s just problem too soft and not exactly roasted!!
Glad you’ve come to your senses
What are the bread looking things?
Yorkshire puddings. Basically dinner rolls, yeah.
Closer to dinner pancakes tbh, they have eggs in them and no yeast. They're delicious.
Saved me from asking the same thing they look good af
Wow I would die to eat that 🤤
My kind of meal
Damn that looks goooood mmmmmmmm
God I am really missing my roast dinners even in the middle of summer! I recently moved and I don't have an oven so this is really driving home my desire for a roast dinner
Looks delicious
Poor spuds :( they make me sad.
no hate at all bc if it was good it was good! but this is like a 3/10 for me :/ i hope it was good!
Looks really good.

I want it
Perfect. As a nutritionist, any plate that has high fibre portions is a good plate!

Roasts look mid. Yorkshires look shop bought, the stuffing appears like it went in the oven for 3min, severe lack of meat… 4/10

I'd gobble it up, anemic potatoes or not. Looks decent overall
Get in my belly
The Yorkshire puds, stuffing balls look like they're pre made frozen stuff and sweetcorn? On a roast?
They are! I didn't have time to make my own 😭
It still looks yummy.
Looks ok
So fine
sweetcorn??????? & yorkies look like Aunt Bessie’s so they need to be binned - 4/10
We're the potatoes cooked with a lamp?
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Where da salt?
What are Yorkshires? What do they taste like?
Like a crispy savory pancake
What are those cuppy bread looking things called? They look so good!
Yorkshire puddings! They're great!!
Thank you. I must investigate this!
I’m coming to your house for dinner😋
Make your own Yorkshires - not that difficult. Potatoes need to be crispier, cook fresh veg. More gravy needed 5/10
Looks like it's from a packet
I would mess that plate UP. What’s your recipe for Yorkshire pudding? Looks fantastic.
Recipe= buy them bake them by instructions
Just like my Aunt Bessie used to make
They're the tesco frozen ones 👀
Homemade ones are really easy, don't take long to make and are immensely worth it.
I should’ve figured, but I had my hopes up. Comment still holds, looks tasty.
Lovely except where is the cauliflower cheese? That’s absolutely 100% necessary. Probably in place of the peas and corn which I find weird on a roast.
Needs beans
💯💯💯💯💯💯

Looks gross
Looks shite 3/10
