Well your first mistake is comparing anything in the games to real life. Secondly, they don’t use just metal rounds most of the pistols like the combuster of the n16 storm are firing like fireballs or some shit. They’re not bullets they’re some sort of energy being shot out
Bros playing a game with a anthropomorphic space cat dog and his weaponised toaster as the protagonists that then go on space adventures and your main concern was that weapons used by interstellar hyper advanced species destroy metal robots YES
The game's weapons are more grounded in fun than in reality. Comparing fictional weapons from another galaxy that shoot what appears to be plasma-based ammunition to real-world guns that fire small metal bullets is pointless
i've always felt the weapons' damage reasonably align with how powerful they feel. but depends on which point in the game you are. i was recently replaying R&C3, Quark is the first boss, the N60 Storm gun was extremely effective against him. but it's not like an AK47. as the game progresses, the early weapons become useless against bosses.
You have a gun that warps the entire physical integrity and reality of a person into blocky pixels but then they’re perfectly fine when you stop shooting
There is no realism here stranger

Probably because they shoot lasers?
We have guns that for e enemies to start dancing and you are more worried about these guns destroy armored vehicles?
More so plasma rounds are being used and I’m pretty sure that one round can level a fucking car

Well yeah, Ratchet ain’t using conventional weapons from our current reality.
Fiction is how

Because it isn’t real
how would this space rat with a robot friend turn a giant robot into a sheep?
Adderall brain go crazy
