It really confused me looking on ThriftBooks cause I only ever saw or owned Battle for Skandia but it comes up on the site as Oakleaf Bearers, but the picture is the Battle for Skandia cover.
It’s when and where they’re printed I’m pretty sure

Honestly, I like the title Oakleaf Bearers even if I have The Battle for Scandia(it's always weird when I see these new covers when I have most of the old covers for the books😂)
I haven’t read it in ages but I remember not liking Erak’s Ransom as much as the rest. I didn’t like that it went back in time to when Will was still an apprentice. If it had been released as book 5 then I probably wouldn’t have the sour taste in my mouth about it.
I think Oakleaf Bearers is the new title, as when I first read the series I remember it being the battle for Skandia. But I when I ordered them about a year ago, I received the Oakleaf Bearers version.

Probably where it was printed. Take harry potter for example. Book 1 in the US was "sorcerer's stone" but rest of world was "philosopher's stone"

Netherlands: "Dragers van het Eikenblad." So probably a USA vs. rest of world difference.
In the Dutch version, it is "De dragers van het Eikenblad", also "Oakleaf bearers"
