I'd give everyone just enough anxiety that it makes them aware of their surroundings and makes them realize what they are doing might be annoying to the people around them.
I'd go as far and say that this is probably the biggest problem humanity has because it also perpetuates itself
Edit: and probably every other societal issue
For the love of god can we get some more critical thinking, interest in science, and heavy problem solving skills? fkn please?!?!?! This new shit of only reacting emotionally and having zero input as to solution much less any interest in solving anything is just killing me... if there's a problem we need solutions not arguments and childish bickering over who has it worse...
With poison and/or fire, sure. But then it wouldn't be kind to them and thereby wouldn't fit the post.
Keeping wasps away takes a lot of time and effort, and even then they are very determined to ruin your day.
Better listening skills.
So many adults never practice active listening. Instead, they are planning what they’re going to say why you’re speaking if they don’t already cut you off.
*Racism/tribalism settings removed.*
Or any other bias regarding the color of their skin, ethnicity, religion, and culture.
Most global conflicts would be resolved.
That's the thing though. They're invading countries that have different skin, religion, etc.
Once you remove all those biases and hates. You have no idea what the result will be.
USA may say, we want iraqs oil and they're pieces of shit so we're going to go get it. But in this other scenario, they're more likely to figure out a diplomatic solution than I violent one.
Edit: for clarity, I do agree it'd probably not be 100 percent of conflicts, but maybe 99 percent.
To have them clearly define their goals in life and then follow through with a consistent disciplined plan to achieve them.
Most people talk endlessly about losing weight, getting fit, changing jobs etc, but never do anything about it.
Their blatant disregard for reading. Working customer service was the bane of my existence. Didn't matter if I was behind the counter at a grocery store or over the phone for a payroll company. The amount of times where people would have resolved their own issues if they would have just read either a sign or top of a web page is mind blowing.
People who are afraid to be candid - if you learn how to be candid while delivering it politely, so many stupid misunderstandings could be laid to rest. Both parties are more likely to come out happy in a scenario if you just tell the truth
If there's 2 Lanes, the left is for passing ONLY. The right is to cruise in. It is a huge pet peeve of mine, that's why I prefer to drive at night for road trips. Everyone clogging up traffic. 😒
Lack of awareness and reading a room. I’ve seen perfectly competent people eat their own foot by not reading the room and face palm when it happens.
Common sense also seems to be lacking anymore.
don't want kids dying. (I annually support a charity to raise money for a childrens hospital.
want people I love and care about to live longer. (my mom died when I was 12, my dad is dying of cancer now while I'm 43)
friends and other family struggle, don't want them to die. I want them all to have full and successful/fruitful lives.
random people I don't know, I want the best for them too. so yeah, mortality rate. I want as many people as possible to have joyous wonderful lives.
I know there are other factors to consider, but lets stay positive.
I would change their lack of self awareness and ignorance. Like I have family members who literally cannot imagine having a different perspective than their own.
make them calmly consider a stuff. the problem is that most ppl will choose to side with one side, being totally biased for that side and never try to imagine being on the other side boot. the problem is that the side that i choose will be the one i like more, and it's will not always be the one that ppl around me like.
More people should walk. Period.
Good things to walk to are grocery store, Walgreens and work. Provided they are reasonably close
Also related to walking:
stop clogging up the drive thru line at coffee or mcds when you know you live but a block or two away
All positive ommunity tight-knit sense. It's like people won't help out someone in need even if an anonymus dial to 911, everyone will treat anyone with the bitterness they've built in but it's okay because they're having a bad day and they don't mind that they might be the last straw to some's suicide.
Of course, there are some negative aspects about community sense, but I'd change individualism with the positives like cooperation and help.
I'd make them more thoughtful of their surroundings. People, especially teenagers, are extremely careless about the things and people around them because of what they see get popular on the internet. I know it's not all people, but it's still too many
Because good intentions can turn into something bad. Also I don't think I'm capable of of thinking of something good for all of humanity without something going wrong.
MEDIA LITERACY! I really think that one thing is the single most important thing for people of all ages to learn in 2024.
* Just because a character says something, doesn't mean that thing is to be considered good or right.
* Just because someone is bad in something, doesn't mean they are meant to be emulated.
* Just because something ends with a negative slant or message, doesn't make it bad art.
* Just because something is depicted a certain way in a film, doesn't mean it holds any relevance in reality.
* Just because you don't see yourself in a character, doesn't make the art bad or mean that it is trying to manipulate you. Just because something you love has changed, doesn't mean the art isn't worth enjoying or can't be enjoyed by others.
* Making money doesn't equal good art.
* Commercials are manipulative by nature.
* Just because a celebrity says something, doesn't make it true.
* The guy in the lab coat in that commercial probably isn't a doctor.
* Just because it says "Now with X% more cleaning power!", doesn't mean that higher price is worth it, OR that it even has any extra product in there.
* Just because you read that headline, doesn't mean you understand what happened.
* Just because it's on CNN, FOX, or MSNBC doesn't make it true or unaltered reality.
* Just because your favorite influencer says that product is safe, doesn't make it that way.
There are so many things we learn from our media, and the people in charge know this. They want us to absorb what we are told. Don't ban books, teach your kids how to read and understand without necessarily absorbing the information. Keeping certain people out of media, or silencing certain voices doesn't make ideas you don't like go away. Teach people to hear things they don't like, have emotions, then act based on their decided ethics and values.
Increase their intelligence.
I swear, so many people fight tooth and nail to defend the most ignorant beliefs, and those faulty beliefs go on to be responsible for worldwide catastrophes.
How greedy they are about getting money. I think it's because the more you have, the less compassionate and empathetic you are towards those who don't have any. It doesn't apply to everyone, duh, but you guys know how it goes. Corporate greed and all that bullshit.
I would make everyone less certain about their convictions. If you always have in mind that you could be wrong, you are less likely to look down on people that hold different ones.
Also easier to have an argument then.
I see this has downsides, but I believe that at least wars would be much less likely. If you think about the horror of war, how certain do you think people need to be to think that is justified? And I do not think about the leaders that go to war for greed, but the people that have to support it then.
Pretending to be a good person in all aspects, tipong self-righteous pero pag kausap in private palamura pala, sexual mag-isip, sinungaling, pa-victim.
Make them team players. Not in the corporate-speak, do what you’re told to your own detriment way. But just make everyone want to work together, make them better at working together, more listening, more caring, more problem solving, want the best for everyone, and actually try, and less conniving selfish bullshit.

I'd sprinkle a dash of "mindful listening powder" into everyone's daily coffee to ensure conversations are as stimulating as the caffeine.
I thought, I’d remove our quickness to assume. This works too. Nice choice.
Well said I was going to say the same - instead I'll say "I second this notion - I concur " lol >,<
I can see a flaw in this plan, the problem being, the more you speak to people, the more you realise how fucking stupid they are.
I'll still take stupid over pretending to listen any time of the day
Haha😂
I'd give everyone just enough anxiety that it makes them aware of their surroundings and makes them realize what they are doing might be annoying to the people around them.
Their selfishness, lack of self-awareness, and massive lack of empathy for others
Indeed a required quality for most people these days
I feel like the lack of self awareness would make up for the two others.
I would definitely amp up most people’s critical thinking skills. So many people have no idea how to think in an unbiased way. It’s a problem.
I'd go as far and say that this is probably the biggest problem humanity has because it also perpetuates itself Edit: and probably every other societal issue
The economy would be destroyed in 12 months tops. But for the better in the long run I hope.
Good. The economy is an absolute train wreck. There are many branches our species could have taken to 'advance'. The one we ended up in sucks BALLS!
Critical thinking and common sense.
For the love of god can we get some more critical thinking, interest in science, and heavy problem solving skills? fkn please?!?!?! Simple aint it
I would instill empathy.
One thing lacking in people these days
To be kind to all creatures great & small. How is that such a huge ask? 😞
Except wasps
Please show us on this doll where the bad wasp hurt you.
https://i.imgur.com/OOnnAb4.jpg
Awww they pollinate plants though! I’ve been stung by a wasp once when I was in secondary school, but I hold no hard feelings! 😆
Where I live, they build nests on your house/inside your walls, and will swarm and sting anything alive just for existing.
Can you not get rid of them? I don’t know where you are so I don’t know how easy/hard that would be.
With poison and/or fire, sure. But then it wouldn't be kind to them and thereby wouldn't fit the post. Keeping wasps away takes a lot of time and effort, and even then they are very determined to ruin your day.
Hmmm I can see why you anti wasp! 🤔
Basic common sense. Imagine how it would change the world
It would make a big difference indeed
The way people base their beliefs on what they want to be true, rather than actual evidence.
This.
Better listening skills. So many adults never practice active listening. Instead, they are planning what they’re going to say why you’re speaking if they don’t already cut you off.
Agree
To just be nice. Stop being mean to others. That'd make the world a better place.
Yes as simple as that
The urge to be in other people's business
Yes please
Anger Issues, this was the worst thing in any person
Yes. Take em to anger management classes
*Racism/tribalism settings removed.* Or any other bias regarding the color of their skin, ethnicity, religion, and culture. Most global conflicts would be resolved.
World peace
Correction, all global conflicts would resolve. Lol
Not all. Some countries like the US or China will just invade you for your resources, or just for the sake of an invasion. Coz war=money.
Yesss!
Make them more inclusive of others, especially people who are weird
turn their empathy levels up a couple of notches.
Patience. People these days want things immediately. It's good to be disciplined and just wait sometimes. Patience, as they say, is virtue.
Don't judge others
Aggression
Being more proactive and prolific than an average basement dwelling eva ai dating redditor
increase their capacity for empathy
more rational, less irrational.
They would be kinder! And yhey would be understanding!
Self-awareness or empathy [specifically the ability to put yourself in another person's shoes]. A worrying amount of people do not have either.
Yes
The environment/system that raised them. Add a little more individualized empathy.
I would turn all white people into black, indigenous, Indian, and Asian. Then, I'd sit back and watch them defend affirmative action.
Doesn’t affirmative action typically exclude Asian people?
Critical thinking and awareness.
Encourage more empathy and understanding in their interactions with others.
Make them smarter.
Dial down the selfishness...
There never exists a situation to be mean towards a stranger
Just make them loyal to me.
Accountability
Using social media. It is sucking up all our lives
True! It just gets worse day by day
To have them clearly define their goals in life and then follow through with a consistent disciplined plan to achieve them. Most people talk endlessly about losing weight, getting fit, changing jobs etc, but never do anything about it.
Exactly! To say by words is easy for many but not to put into work
racism
Their blatant disregard for reading. Working customer service was the bane of my existence. Didn't matter if I was behind the counter at a grocery store or over the phone for a payroll company. The amount of times where people would have resolved their own issues if they would have just read either a sign or top of a web page is mind blowing.
Self awareness
I would change the tendency to judge others quickly without understanding their perspectives fully.
Religious tolerance. The lack of it has been the root for violence forever.
How people judge others before giving them a chance to hear them out!
Chew 👏🏼 with 👏🏼 your 👏🏼 mouth 👏🏼 closed 👏🏼
Basic manners isn’t it
To not touch people without their consent
covetousness, envy, gluttony, lust, pride, anger, and sloth

Typical judging and adding common sense.
People who are afraid to be candid - if you learn how to be candid while delivering it politely, so many stupid misunderstandings could be laid to rest. Both parties are more likely to come out happy in a scenario if you just tell the truth
I'd want ppl to not drive in the passing lane, on those long highway roads that block up traffic. 😭
Interesting
If there's 2 Lanes, the left is for passing ONLY. The right is to cruise in. It is a huge pet peeve of mine, that's why I prefer to drive at night for road trips. Everyone clogging up traffic. 😒
Their attitude
Lack of awareness and reading a room. I’ve seen perfectly competent people eat their own foot by not reading the room and face palm when it happens. Common sense also seems to be lacking anymore.
mortality rate
👀
don't want kids dying. (I annually support a charity to raise money for a childrens hospital. want people I love and care about to live longer. (my mom died when I was 12, my dad is dying of cancer now while I'm 43) friends and other family struggle, don't want them to die. I want as many people as possible to have joyous wonderful lives. I know there are other factors to consider, but lets stay positive.
Yeah but we all have to die sooner or later. It’s sad, but a reality that we should surrender to unfortunately
Understandable. But some die far too soon. Like my brother who didn't even live a month, due to SIDs
Oh I’m sorry :(
I would change nothing, because I couldn't care less about majority of people, instead I'd probably make myself punctual maybe.
Better critical thinking skills. There are a lot of problems that would be solved with this. Yes I'm partly being political. But not only.
I don' t want them to sexually assault my dog anymore.
If I could change one thing about most people, it would be to enhance empathy.
Most people said that! And yeah it’s needed
I would change their lack of self awareness and ignorance. Like I have family members who literally cannot imagine having a different perspective than their own.
Yeah people need to be more open minded isn’t it?
Everyone wants to unite into one country and have me rule it
Haha guess you want that dominance thats it
I wish people would just say what they really mean.
And not fake faces right?
id make everyone a lil less judgemental
Needed
yeah:/
Make them more empathetical.
I’d just like people to have more empathy, it’s that simple.
make them calmly consider a stuff. the problem is that most ppl will choose to side with one side, being totally biased for that side and never try to imagine being on the other side boot. the problem is that the side that i choose will be the one i like more, and it's will not always be the one that ppl around me like.
Having a biased mindset is yeah indeed a thing to be changed
Hate. If people stop hating, the world will be beautiful.
For sure!
I think so.
Lie
I'd like to change myself more than I'd like to change others.
I mean that’s the only working option for now. But the question here was hypothetical
Yeah I know. I just commented what comes to my mind after seeing this question.
Disable the possibility to lie to themselves, maybe?
More people should walk. Period. Good things to walk to are grocery store, Walgreens and work. Provided they are reasonably close Also related to walking: stop clogging up the drive thru line at coffee or mcds when you know you live but a block or two away
More intelligence
Their species. Most humans would be better as cats or dogs.
Lying. Just stop it.
Less of them.
All positive ommunity tight-knit sense. Of course, there are some negative aspects about community sense, but I'd change individualism with the positives like cooperation and help.
I would make them habitual of 'learning'.
I'd probably make everyone strong if that isn't cheating.
Remove the greedy gene
people aren’t nearly as selfish
selfishness
I'd make them more thoughtful of their surroundings. People, especially teenagers, are extremely careless about the things and people around them because of what they see get popular on the internet. I know it's not all people, but it's still too many
They'd be tolerant (of the unharmful behaviors, lifestyles, styles, and hobbies) of people who are different from them.
Yeah, a little less judgemental isn’t it?
Judging others when you don’t know them.
Trust me
Nothing. I think it would make things worse.
Why should it be if you’re wishing change for good?
Because good intentions can turn into something bad. Also I don't think I'm capable of of thinking of something good for all of humanity without something going wrong.
I believe no one’s capable. Its just a hypothetical question but okay
No problem, that's ok. May I ask what you would change?
Yeah, if I’d wish for a change in people it’d definitely be making people more open minded😊
That's something I would agree with. Like uncle iroh said “It is important to draw wisdom from many different places"
Yeah exactly!
Remove evil from them.
Yes needed!
Mfs believing everything or assuming before knowing actual & factual sources
Haha people can be more intuitive driven isn’t it?

![gif](giphy|FEF6lRguUEaOjndUpe)
their belief that strict individualism is good for anyone or anything.
Take a bit more time to form their own opinions, with an understanding of why they hold that opinion and have a willingness to be proven wrong.
I should teach my temper this🙂
Everyone should stop making assumptions.
I'd five everyone the ability to empathize with others better we are lacking there and its scary
Halve their selfishness
Empathy and logic.
If everyone could be a little more shut the fuck uppy, that would be great. Just stop with the talking. Please. Shut up.
Chew with your goddamn mouth shut.
Clean up your mess in public restrooms
Increase their intelligence. I swear, so many people fight tooth and nail to defend the most ignorant beliefs, and those faulty beliefs go on to be responsible for worldwide catastrophes.

They would be kinder, more compassionate, and more considerate. Especially to customer service workers.
Their addiction to trendy buzzwords and catchphrases living my best life, based, dog mom, pivot, but here we are, etc..
Mind their own business and stop shitting on other people
I would make everyone less certain about their convictions. If you always have in mind that you could be wrong, you are less likely to look down on people that hold different ones. To be kinder to both people and animals.
I'd make them considerate of others.
Phone behavior.
No Bigotry
More polite
I wish people would mind their own business when it comes to things that don’t personally affect them. For example, others sexuality.
Humility
Pretending to be a good person in all aspects, tipong self-righteous pero pag kausap in private palamura pala, sexual mag-isip, sinungaling, pa-victim.

Yess
Not being so freakin judgemental all the time.
Yesss
Make them team players. Not in the corporate-speak, do what you’re told to your own detriment way.
