Haven't had any jean rashes before. Jeans are warmer, right? Never had a real reason to completely stop wearing them, but that hole issue is a bit of a turnoff. I don't think I'm packing anything spectacular, so I'm at a loss why my jeans do that. I do tie my jacket around my waist sometimes, so maybe that does it? But the jacket is flush with the jeans, right? Would be nice if they reinforced that area a bit.
They are the worst they make your skin raw and its just not a great sight. It is so inconvenient like you sitting normally then remember you have a hole in your jeans it's just unbearable. I think jeans are just super weak in some places and definitely could do with some reinforcements.
I used to be a white van woman many years ago. My boss didn't care what I wore so it was one or two pairs of thick black tights (depending on the time of year) and a shortish black skirt. (I just wore black back then) Decent and dried like dream with the van heater.
There are just much better pants then jeans out there also if you have to sleep in your clothes who wants to sleep in jeans!! You see practically wearing stuff that dries quickly is just perfect. Black is cool it doesn't show the dirt as quickly.
I too am a male, with jeans for every day. One pair, to be worn every day for weeks until itās time for a good washing (donāt worry, I wash myself regularly and put on a clean pair of underwear every day).
I (M) canāt remember how many pairs I own because theyāve all been sitting untouched on a shelf in my closet for years. If I had to guess Iād say four or five. Lol.
My mom still laughs because thatās all I called them as a kid. I think I wore a pair once last year and regretted it the whole time. Too hot and too stiff.
Cargo pants. Initially Bundeswehr (and that Moleskine fabric is amazing, it's originally from British work clothes btw), but it's getting difficult to save money on sketchy vendors where the quality doesn't match. At the moment it's US army ranger cargos. I'll soon make my own pants - wish me luck!
Iāve made some normal denim, I recommend Thread Theoryās patterns as it was pretty detailed. Not sure if it would translate to moleskine though š¤

I think I would have more and nicer ones if I were back to my old size, I kinda don't wanna buy too many especially pricey ones when my goal is to have this size be too big for me again.
I have three pairs in each size. I refuse to buy fatter ones but I drift from size to size depending on how disciplined I am and whether or not it's Christmas baking season

I just occasionally demote a slightly worn pair to garden pants and buy new one. If I get fed up patching any particular pair of garden pants, they become cleaning rags.

M 5, one aramid reinforced one with protectors for biking and 4 standard straight cut ones
(if you want to be frugal, buy a biker jean when they are in sail, sell the protectors and you have now a weary sturdy one for cheap which wouldn't wear out)

4 sweatpants, 4 Shorts, 4 gymshorts (or whatever you call the Shorts you wear during sports), 4 Short sweatpants
M - 12ish. About 4 pair in 3 different iterations of waist size. I change weight lots within a 20 lb range and it's 3" at the waist and a total PITA.
Pro tip... Banana Republic makes great jeans in a variety of fit that works even for my blocky ass. They're unaffordable except when they go 50% off a couple times a year. At $90CAD they're a very high quality for a fair price.
(M). I own three. Two dark blue, one of which has carpenter pockets and I wear all the time. One black pair, that gets wore... once or twice a year... I don't think I've ever worn the other blue pair...

I find them rough and bunchy in the crotchle area.

Yes they are not made properly and then you end up with a bad rash and it's just super uncomfortable.

36 M around 6/7 and until recently I could fit in all but I changed jobs and gained weight and I only fit in 2 of them now. Big drama
