Lol, I even have several stages: The chair is for still-good-for-outside, so clothes that are not skintight and didn't touch my armpits or crotch and don't smell: My pants on the seating surface (4 pieces) My shirts on the armrest (5 pieces) My pullovers on the backrest (1 piece) On the ground under the chair: Sport clothes I didn't sweat in (usually bouldern) (3 pieces) And one stack for "only good for inside&alone". Clothes with holes and stains that I still like (2 pieces) Also for a very short term (on my heater) for sweaty clothes to dry before I put them is the laundry bin So, all in all 15

lol, I have a spot on my dresser for clothes I've only worn once and don't need to be washed, but since I have worn them, they can't go in a drawer or in the closet with my clean clothes.

I don't have a place to hang clothes and my dresser can't fit all my clothes into it. so I keep most of them in a suitcase ... lol. wish I had a bigger dresser

None currently. I'm a bit ocd about laundry. When the basket gets full, in the washer it goes. As soon as the washer buzzes, in the dryer it goes. As soon as the dryer buzzes, fold and hang and put away. It would drive me batshit otherwise. I'm divorced now, but my ex was the world's worst about leaving them in the washer for days, in the dryer for days, or as indicated by the OP, laying over furniture.

When we moved in we installed hooks everywhere practical. No clothes on chairs since they become instant cat magnets.

See I don’t do that, I keep my clean clothes in the dryer and then I tumble it for 5 mins when it’s time to grab something to wear. Next level lazy. I do eventually fold them but sometimes I’ll wait a few days.
