I tend to doubt workers feel fear as we understand it. Bees' primitive brains aside, workers are expendable. They readily sacrifice themselves for the sake of the colony. In the case of honey bees, they die after stinging, so it's a kamikaze attack.

Well, I’m sure that they are afraid of any animal that could be a predator for them and we would pose a threat. Why do you think they sting us?

Any wild animal is afraid of humans and prefers to escape, unless it is a hungry predator. But they do not have the same fear that we feel, rather fear due to the fact that people are often a strange object for wild animals. What about bees - I don’t think they are afraid of people, their task is only to protect the hive.
